I agree with Nancy and the details really matter--at 5'4" and 136 you are already light, but it may be more of a body composition (body fat %) that you want to change so that you are tighter and smaller.

You'll find your answers in accurate daily nutrition tracking more than anything else.

I'll leave the ST up to your trainer. With the runs, if you vary the intensity and duration that will help as well. Instead of 3 runs that are the same, take one run and run longer and slower (say 5mi and very easy pace) then keep one day at 3mi the same as you've been doing, then also change one day to 3mi total but with 1mi warm-1mi HARD-1mi cool down. Check your heart rate and make sure it is not always working at the same level because your body gets efficient.

Let me know if you have any more questions! :)

Okie dokie- A few thoughts:

1. Try to increase your water to 12 C a day. 16 (1 gallon) would be good, but asking you to double your water consumption would be a lot, so try for 12.

2. Are you logging your food anywhere? Might help you if you can get a good look at your calorie intake.

3. There is information in this blog i wrote several years ago that you might find very helpful:

4. With the last few pounds, the devil is in the details! Little things are usually what move you forward. Pay attention to the small things. Keep meticulous notes. And push yourself in your training!

8 oz.

I'm 5'4" and 136 pounds currently.

Clean eating as per my personal trainer is low carb. Lean meat, green vegetables, apples, pears, sweet potatoes. peanut butter. hemp milk and hemp protein. No bread, no dairy.

I run three days a week 9 (three miles each run) and work out with my personal trainer 3x a week.

How big is a glass?

Also, how tall are you and how much to you weight. if you don't mind my asking?

Your activity level is not uber high, but if you were my client (I am a Health Coach and Personal Trainer) I know I'd suggest you drink at LEAST 12 measuring cups of water a day, maybe higher. This can play into the urge to cheat.

Also, what is your definition of "eating clean"? It varies so much from person to person that the words alone don't tell me much. I see you don't have a Spark Page, which makes going into your food logs to get a look impossible.

Sorry for all the questions, but each person is different and it's easier to give you a good answer if I do a bit of sleuthing to get a complete picture. :-)

I m good with water- least eight glasses a day. Should I drink more with my activity level? As for cheating it s like I' ll go for weeks eating clean and then have a day where I eat all wrong- like I save it up for that day--lol. I bloat and then takes a few days to go back to my current weight. So I don't make progress.

What is your definition of "once in a while" when it comes to cheating? And what does a typical cheat look like?

Also, how much water are you drinking?

I m here to try and find out why I'm not losing these last ten pounds. I mean, in a way I know, I can eat better and cleaner, but it s been hard to balance a life and make the changes I need to make to get the last ten off. This is where this team comes in (l ol). I have like 6 to 10 pounds and its been so hard to "go to that next level" I must go to get these pounds off. I need help with when I eat out, and times, when I'm really stressed. I am on a low carb diet basically, and work out like six days a week. I am weaning off dairy, wheat, sugar and artificial sugar ( anti -inflammation). I do feel much better when I am off this stuff, but I cheat now and then. I run three miles three times a week and I also work with a personal trainer 3x a week for a half hour.
I am also dealing with premature menopause, which has given me mild fatty liver and osteoporosis.
Sorry for the lengthy message but It s really great to be here and meet you all!!!
