I just finished day 1 of week 1 and I enjoyed it. I didn't feel overwhelmed. I actually thought to myself that I can do this. I will eventually be able to run a 5K!

I'm Dani! And now it's about me!

Hi, just wanted to see how everyone's C25k is going? I skipped 2 runs last week so I am redoing week 2 this week, for at least 2 of my days. Depending on how tomorrows run goes I'll either do W2,D3 Friday or move on to W3,D1. We'll see.

How's it going for you guys?

I just started C25K again! I actually first started back in April and got all the way to week 8 but I stopped running because the temperatures here in middle Tennessee were over 100 degrees most days and it wasn't even cooler at night or early morning! I got WAY off track but am determined to get started again. I am a teacher and when school starts, my life goes haywire, but today I did Week 1, Day 1 of C25K and I will finish this time with my 5K!! I would love to encourage and support you! You can do this! Just keep it as a focus!

Hi Rachel, I just started too (well today was my day 2). I'd love a buddy to keep me accountable and committed to this. I never liked running...avoided it by all means, but so many people are doing it, so I decided to give it a go...just like you! Feel free to check in, and I'll do the same if you want. PS read my blog from today...I gave an update on how it was ;)

Hi Rachel, my name is Alaine. I will be starting the program tomorrow, and would LOVE a buddy to check in with. I am 26, and just want to feel comfortable in my own body, something I've never been, even when I was thin. Way to go on the first day! let me know if you want to check in with each other, I know it would really help me to have a buddy.

Congrats on finishing day 1. THis program is fantastic. I finished the program several weeks ago and ran my first 5K yesterday. It is an amazing program that makes runners out of all of us. I am already looking for my next 5K. I hope you get as much out of the program as I did. Good luck.

Hi Rachel
That's awesome that you finished your first day. I too have just started. I will be starting my week #4. Just like you the first day I was shocked I could actually do it.. I am older than you also. Check in with me anytime. We can share motivation!

Hi Rachel! Congratulations on completing Day One! I have trained with the C25K twice and ran two 5k's. I am beginning my third training (after taking almost a year off from running). I just completed W3D3 and have a friend here in my home town that just finished W2D1. We are both much older than you- so if we can do it, so can you! Congratulations also on working it into your very busy "young mom" schedule! We are both cheering for you!

Hi, I'm Rachel, a 22yo stay at home mom of 2 kiddos under 3.

A lot of spark people use the Couch to 5K program, and I have always wanted to run, so I figured I'd give it a try.

Day one was actually encouraging. I got red and dripped sweat, but I never felt like "There's no way I can do this!" I had to do it pretty late (completed it at 9:45pm), but it's so much easier to work out without them running around.

Anyway, I am looking for a spark buddy to check in with, someone to help keep me motivated on track.

Peace, Rachel
