welcome Meridith,at least your off to a good start :)
i used to run until i felt like i was gonna die.and not try again for a year
i did it last year and then after finishing got off track
this time i am on week 4 and it's a lot easier so far
last year i repeated weeks 3 and 4 time

Hi! I'm Meredith. I started exercising through SP a little over three months ago. Before that, most of my exercise came in the form of surfing (channels, that is). I now exercise almost everyday and most of that exercise is walking.

A couple of weeks ago I was out for a walk by myself when I decided to try to see if I could jog. I wasn't sure how to do it, but I gave it a try hoping my legs could figure out what to do. I actually was able to do it for at least thirty seconds before I stopped. It kind of blew my mind because I had never really jogged before. Since then I've occasionally thrown 30 seconds of jogging into the walking I'm doing.

Today I read a great blog that mentioned the C25K program. I decided to check it out, and it seems like a great idea. I have only ever dreamed of being able to jog or run, so I'm really hoping this works as well as others say it does.

I did the first day today. I didn't think I could do that much jogging in one session, but I made it. I already can't wait to try it again, but I guess I should wait until Sunday.

So, here I am. I'm hoping to become a jogger. I look forward to going through this journey, and I hope to get to know many of you along the way.
