Looseners are crucial on every run. So are the stretches after a run. It is all about staying injury free. Listen to your body. If there is pain after two days, rest up.

I will post my blog on ChiRunning Clinic I attended a year ago in May. I have never posted it. It may help give you some insight.

There is an app?! Thanks. I hope I can I use it for the metronome that is suggested for later lessons.

My inside ankles are a little sore today. Maybe the looseeners are in order or maybe it is because I am used to a softer path. (I practiced around my neighborhood yesterday while I usually go to a trail.)

I was excited to begin using chirunning like you. It is OK to apply a run walk run methodology. I would do regular intervals. I found the downloadable APP very helpful when doing form intervals and keeping cadence steady. Good luck.

I finally got a hold of the book from the library. I have been using what I know about chi running (posture and lean) and I think it has helped. Now it is time to really key in on the details because I have trouble going without walking breaks.

I read the first six chapter. Today I did lesson 1 with a run. I focused on posture in my run. A few times I had to get across a street quickly to avoid keeping traffic waiting too long. First I lengthened my stride to go fast. The second time I leaned in and wow! I can't wait until I read the details of leaning so I can practice them. It felt great to run with the lean the little while that I did it.
