emoticon on your weight loss so far! That is awesome!! You have come to the right place to lose the rest. This place has fabulous tools for tracking your food and fitness activity.
I love most kinds of music and they all have their place. I love hard driving Latin rhythms for a good cardio workout like Zumba, hard rock for boxercise, popular music for cardio machines, orchestra for strength training and soft flute music for mind body exercise or meditation.
All the best reaching your goal!

What a great idea to join the group, as a composer.

I'm not a composer- but I love music. Thanks for joining!

Hi all you music lovers,

I have joined this group for a number of reasons but mainly as a musician and composer I consider music to be one of the most amazing things that we can have around us. I think it is great to be in an environment of like minded people in this field.

Music with a beat can motivate us and get us moving more than we would otherwise consider, it can cheer us up, it can motivate us, all tasks that when we react burn up more calories aiding us eventually to a healthier lifestyle.

I also write music when I am not performing it or teaching it and have used it fairly extensively over the past year in losing 90+ pounds. I still have another 90 to go and want to continue to use my music to help me and hopefully many of you to get there.

I don't know if I am the only composer in sparkpeople but I have yet to see anybody else load up any of their work into a blog. I only found out a week ago that I could do this so I have chosen to add some of it. My music is mainly orchestral and somewhat classicly based with a hint of folk and light-heartedness. It can be described as chillout more than upbeat and it can be found in my recent blogs.

Please feel free to have a listen and as music connoisseurs I would deeply appreciate your views and opinions on my work. If it can lift or motivate you to do more or burn off more than so be it every one is a winner.

I have a number of other pieces I have written over the years that I can add and will consider this if enough want me to do this.

Cheers respect and love to you all,

Trev

P.S. - I could spend more time lengthening this to tell you all about myself but all this information is on my sparkpage so if you want to know more about me please visit me on there.
