I am sorry your situation is not being taken seriously. The first endocrinologist I had was a jerk and told me nothing was wrong with me. I went back to my Dr. and told her I wanted to see a different one. You have to be persistent. It is very frustrating not getting the help you need and dealing with the amount of time it takes. Keep trying to find someone who will listen well and who makes the decisions WITH you instead of FOR you. I know it's frustrating but I don't understand why they wouldn't take your situation more seriously. A lot of times you have to advocate for your own health and it definitely isn't easy to do that. Don't get too discouraged because you may find someone helpful sooner than you think. Also, try not to over worry too much. I know, waaaay easier said than done, but the outcome may be really good.

I had some potentially bad news today. Boy, I certainly do not trust Aurora docs. I am not sure who to trust. they found Hurthle cells in my biopsy of the thyroid nodule and they just wanted to let it go and wait and see for 6 months if anything changes with a new biopsy.
I was not comfortable with that at all. I researched on the internet and found that the only way they can tell if Hurthle cells are benign or cancerous is to remove the nodule. So now I need to find a good endocrinologist. Any suggestions?
I am exhausted and scared.
