Wow BRENNERS03 we've been avoiding this topic for awhile. I Hope that you're doing better with staying on track than I have been.
I definitely feel the lack of it too! emoticon

I'm on a reading kick and enjoying the inspiration. This weekend took steps to have good food (food that's good for me) on hand and in just the little bit of time, I'm already starting to feel better. Now I just need to keep the inspiration right in front of me...while I read these books. Recommend them all. How to Heal Hashimotos by Marc Ryan, The Adrenal Thyroid Revolution by Aviva Romm, and Reboot Your Health by Sara Davenport.

Agree completely that gluten free is the way for me. I've done a few whole30's and every time I feel better and have less symptoms and even saw my lab numbers change. Time to take charge of my health and make it a lifestyle change not just a 30 day challenge. Praying we all find ways to stay motivated to eat what's best for our bodies.

My doctor didn't suggest it, but my stomach did, as so many foods upset it. I went gluten free for a short time and did feel much better and even lost some weight. Things got shook up in my life and I stopped taking care of myself and ate whatever.
I Need to get back to gluten free and taking care of me!

Has anyone had their doctor suggested going gluten free. I have a friend who was just diagnosed with Hashimoto and her doctor suggested she go gluten and dairy free? I tried it for a couple of weeks and I found I wasn't as tired. I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience.
