With all the varieties, they would think I have multiple personalities! Like 20 or so.
Love them all!

I am organized, sexy, and have an obsession with red shoes (six pairs and counting).

They'll be totally confused....my collection ranges from casual sandals and flip flops to diva.
They'll probably think that i never exercise since my sneakers are in my gym bag. And they'll probably wonder where the practical working flats are, since i don't have any.

I can relate! I don't think there would be any doubt about my compulsive need for organization. My shoe closet would say it all. I couldn't stand my boots falling over, so I bought those do-it-yourself shelves and turned them on their sides, vertically, and lined them up on the top closet shelf. Just above eye level for me. Each space is wide enough for one boot. I put a rolled up magazine in the boots to hold them up. If they came with dust covers, I use those as well. And of course, they are categorized. For shoes I've been using those hanging canvas garment bags. Not a great system, but it's working for now with the space I have.

They'd think I have impeccable taste, of course! They'd realize I LOVE stilletos! They'd wonder how I function with only 2 pairs of flats! (One for work and one for "casual" outfits. My only "sneakers" live in my gym bag, since I refuse to wear sneakers/tennis shoes for anything besides working out.)

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Cor 5:17

If someone looked at my shoe closet, the first thing they would think is that I was anal retentive, as my shoes are organized in groups based on genre (boots, designer shoes, wedges, stilletos, etc). Next, they would probably regard me as meticulous and careful, since my shoes are carefully stacked in their original boxes and well-dusted. Upon opening some of the shoe boxes, my stranger would notice that I like a mash-up of masculine and feminine characteristics (studs paired with lace details or chunky boots made of patent leather). They would probably conclude that there is a tomboy streak buried somewhere in this fashionista's persona.
Finally, this stranger would notice my penchant for unexpected details and would understand me to be a person who enjoys the irony of shoes and of life.

So, if a stranger who knew nothing about you saw your closet, what kind of person could they deduce you are based solely on the shoes you own?
