Kali, Computer has been awol at DS's the last week. Would have loved to have seen this earlier. I am so awed by what you wrote I liked the generic list from kaiser, but your list is so much more personal and so much better for even my mental health as I read it over. Thank you. Now that you raised the bar, I too am going to attempt 52 personal affirmations.

1) I am a phoenix and can rise from the ashes as often as needed
2) I have a positive outlook on life
3) I am blessed by a wonderful family and grandkids.
4) I have amazing friends spanning over 50 years for several of them. Pushing 60 for a couple.
5) When I fall off the food wagon, I start over much quicker now.
6) I keep searching new resources to help me gain better health
7) I have a capacity to forgive which I am eternally grateful.
8) I have a capacity for gratitude learned from my Sister and parents.
9) TOPS is a blessing
10) Book Club is a blessing
11) Writing Group is a blessing
12) Buddy the Dog loves me and makes sure I stay exercised and he is a blessing
13) I have the ability to adapt and change with circumstances
14) I live in a wonderful community with nice neighbors.
15) I have maintained a 20-30 pound weight loss for 10 years.
16) I have the ability and resources to reach a healthy weight
17) I have the ability and resources to maintain excellent health
18) I was loved and treasured as a child and will always hold on to that.
19) I know how to live simply
20) I give back by knitting and donating things.
21) I am currently searching for another volunteer opportunity, maybe 4-H
22) My kids love me and I love them.
23) Blessed to live in beautiful green, mountainous countryside with rivers and waterfalls.
24) Blessed to have college age GD living with me.
25) Blessed with the discovery of painting and crafting in retirement. Such fun.
26) I have a bit of a green thumb with indoor plants
27) I like to use natural products as much as possible
28) I vote
29) I also have ability to step away from the news and take care of my mental health
30) I do yoga and PT and move and wiggle through out the day to keep blood and lymph system circulating and muscles flexible.
31) I eat and juice a lot of greens. They do taste good too.
32) I have limited meat consumption to fish and chicken mostly.
33) I am really good at researching for information as needed and for my health or fun.
34) I know how to play and laugh
35) I appreciate the arts
36) I enjoy children and teaching and was pretty good at it before retiring.
37) My home is comfortable and a joy to be in.
38) I have a one in one out rule that helps me to think carefully before buying.
39) I love nature and do my best to protect the environment.
40) I try to stay in a prayerful state of mind expressing gratitude on many levels.
41) I listen to Buddy when he is making eye contact and insisting on a walk (Like now)
42) We walk in the rain with joy and energy.
43) My basic needs are met through grace
44) I encourage others
45) Persistence is my friend. I never give up
46) I like a tidy and restful house with a few projects out for fun and sharing.
47) I live a balanced life
48) I practice kindness and respect while trying to balance my own needs
49) I am a spiritual seeker, currently back to my old church
50) I have the ability and opportunity to slow down and explore the simple things in life.
51) I look forward to 2020 and the new adventures that it brings.
