Hello all. I'm glad for the sunshine today. I did Turbo Jam cardio party 2 so far today. I'm used to cardio party 1. #2 is very different. It was hard on my ankles and I actually had a hard time keeping up.
Tom, where did you mob dance? I see those on UTube and I think they're just awesome!

Great day!! Made an appointment to hopefully meet my new boss next thursday...no formal offer yet, but we've been negotiating. He wants me to see the store that I would manage and make sure I would be happy there. I also completely week 4 day 2 of c25k today....

Thanks. I was just wondering. I did this on Tuesday, but accident, and I felt a little weird. I started out walking and then I felt good enough to run a little and I ran for one mile. My legs felt so much heavier. So will only run on cardio days.

Good luck this weekend. I am running the 5k on Saturday (I am starting out slow and working my way up to 10ks and eventually a half marathon). I will come back on Sunday to watch the race.

Doral - you can run on strength training days, but it's better to run on days when you're training uppers, as opposed to ST your legs. You CAN run on days that you ST your lowers, but make one of the workouts light (either run slower and/or shorter or lift lighter weights or do less reps). I think I would run first then doing ST; it's even better if you have a span of time between the workouts; i.e., run in the morning and do ST in the afternoon or evening.

Speaking of running, I have 4 miles today, then 2 miles tomorrow, then it's off to Miami. I haven't gone out yet, as it was a bit chilly this morning and I was just not feeling it. I'll be out the door within the hour, though.

Good morning team.

All is well here in Doral. I went to bed early last night (9:45) and woke up rested and ready to do my strength training. I feel great!!!!!! Today I walk to pick my son up from school.

Just phone calls and chores today.

Question, Carolyn, or anyone else who knows the answer, is it okay to run on strength training days or should I only do so on cardio days?

It was great 1 1/2 hour extra in bed,does wonders.

Good Morning TEAM!!!

Went to my dentist about the sore under my tongue, they referred me to an oral surgeon today. So will call and make the appointment.

Going to go do my crunches now, then my walk. Yesterday at gym with my sister for 40 min, and I feel the ache in the body today!!

Had a "munchie" day yesterday...could not seem to keep from snacking. Luckily, I kept it within reason, but determined to get back on track today. One sick kid at home and still needd to exercise...(sigh)

Good morning team,yes it's a little chilly out this morning so I will be going in the Gym in a few minutes,yesterday was a good day for me,buy me some new scrubs for my new job because they change the Dress color code to all Black don't know why,any way I get some from Walmart at low price,today I am having Lunch with some Friends,and after lunch we are going to the mall to walk it will be fun,have a wonderful day everyone.

Living a Healthy and Active Life style, Reach my Goal and very Happy with my Body,my eating habits,Fresh Fruits, Lot's of Green vegetables,drink 8 To 10 glasses of water daily.
