Thursday is my weigh-in day, too. I've weighed right at my goal of 110 every Thursday for four years now and intend to stay there from now on. I feel so good having lost the pesky 10 lbs. I had been trying to get rid of for years. Sparkpeople helped me do it!

WOW we have something in common. Do you have fun days? We had our areas fun day last saturday and they gave out certificates, charms, etc. A real fun day.
I am still below goal but just barely and if I want a dingle dangle or whatever they call it I have to not exceed my goal weight for the whole year. I became a queen and graduated to a KOP at a SRD. It was marvelous.
I lost 52 pounds in 9 months.

I just made my goal weight a little over a week ago. Then I thought I blew it when I had a binge episode (after such a nice long streak of being binge-free) and I was flabbergasted when I saw I lost another pound when I weighed myself yesterday!

Still maintaining. I have a cold, though, and it's easy to not eat much when I feel so terrible. Those cold pills really make appetite evaporate.

Yes! Went to the doctor yesterday & got the good news....I lost the 4 lbs I gained over the holidays!! Thank goodness! the bad news is that I have an infection in my hand. It came from a little cut & pretty soon I had red streaks, a headache & fever. Antibotics will do the trick!!!

I learned a long time ago that I can maintain any weight I really want. Problem is, do I really want to? One of the questions in selecting a goal weight is whether or not I am willing to make any sacrifices necessary to keep it, and what consitutes a sacrifice? Am I willing to eat all my own food most of the time, seldom eating out? Yes. Am I willing to never eat dessert again? No. Am I willing to walk every day? Yes. Am I willing to eat only one bite of any food like a skinny supermodel? No. And then I decide what weight equals what I am willing, rather than able to comfortably and happily maintain.

Congrats to all of you who are truly maintaining. KT, setting a new goal may be exactly what you need. In the Judith Beck book I'm reading she distinguishes between attainable weight and maintainable weight. I'm still trying to figure out my maintainable weight. We'll get there!!

Can't keep trying to kill myself with every minute of my life being scheduled!

I am changing my goal range- increasing just slightly. Instead of trying to get down to and maintain 130-135, I am aiming to maintain 134-139. Once school is out for the summer, I may readjust to try to get those last few pounds off. We'll see!

I will, however, continue to workout and eat healthy to maintain my weight-loss (about 40 pounds) and to continue being healthy and improving strength!

Today I baked two cakes..... and puff pastry sheets filled with cabbage filling, cheese filling, spinach and cheese filling, ground lamb and herbs and spices)....I was so tempted. I had just few small tastings and it is now in the freezer (for company).

I weigh just once a week and have been maintaining at the same weight (110) for a long time by getting in at least 30 min. exercise (usually more) every day and staying in the middle of my calorie range each day. Since joining Sparkpeople, I've stayed at goal longer than I ever have in my whole life (a long time, since I'll be 80 next month.)

Well I maintained for the month of January. In fact lost a half pound. Unfortunately that still leaves me 4 pounds above my "happy weight," to borrow a phrase. This despite running over 90 miles in January. Guess where my problem lies?! Just proves the old adage "you can't out-train a bad diet!" I know what I need to do. Just need to do it.

I am within my goal range. I am exercising more, since I got a Wii Fit, but with the extra exercise, I also feel more hungry, so am trying to distract myself from the idea of food. Some of the games don't use much energy, but there are a few that give a good workout.

I'm a pound less today than I was Jan 1, so I'm happy with that emoticon SP's calorie range for maintenance for me is working really well, although I spend many days convinced I'm going to gain eating an avg of 2300 calories every day. Hopefully one day I'll get over the guilt!

I am 2 pounds less than I was a month ago, now 8 pounds under goal. I'll get back up, though. Always do.

I'm doing well, with my lowest weigh in of 35 years earlier this week. I'm fluctuating, though, and currently 1.2 pounds over my happy weight. I'm going to keep to losing calories for a few more days or weeks until I am consistently weighing around 126. Then I'm going to truly try to maintain with as little overeating as I can manage. I'd like to have as little fluctuation as possible, but all I can control is my behavior.
