189 lbs I haven't lost or gained anything for 2 months. emoticon I'm hoping that next week will be a loss of at least a pound!

I was so excited this morning I was down 2lbs from last week!! I was so afraid to get on the scale-i didn't exercise not even once this week. We have family in the hospital and the kids have had a week filled with activities getting ready for school. (2 teenage cheerleaders=1 busy mom) and i let all of LIFE get in the way of me exercising. But good news is i found a great/small gym not even ten minutes from my house that's only $20.00 a month to join!! Its great too all the equipment looks new since its one of those out in the country kind of places. Hope next week is as good and i vow to exercise no matter what gets in the way. Good luck everyone

I had a baby in April and weighed 195 that morning! I am 5'5 and used to weigh 125 lbs. before kids (3 now under age 5). I lost the first 20 lbs. easy without working out or changing my diet. I was down to 164 on July 4th and then made major changes to my diet and started exercising more consistently. I began p90x 3 weeks ago. I weighed 152 this morning, so that's 12 lbs. in just over one month! My goal is to get down to 125 again by January 1st, 2012!

WOW...getting back on track was easier than I thought. And I can really see that indulging from time to time actually helps my weight loss.

Down from 165 lbs (returning from holidays / family reunion) to 161 lbs!

Weight Tuesday, July 5, 2011: 190.6 DOWN 1.4 from last week, and finally below the weight I was at mid March. I cheated a bit this weigh in, because I ran before I recorded my weight. Back on track now with my eating and exercise.
Weight, Tuesday, July 12, 2011: 194.2 UP 3.6. Family member had health issues and I spent a sleepless night at the ER, birthday celebrations for my eldest, no cardio, and TOM all contributed to this gain, but I am going to take it back off quickly!
Weight Tuesday, July 19, 2011: 191 Down 3.2 of the 3.6 I gained last week.
Weight Tuesday, July 26, 2011:188.8 Down 2.2 from last week, that is the last .4 of my regain, and 1.8 of new loss! It's also the second time I have been lower than my inital weigh in of 190.8 on March 15. 2 pounds lost in 4 months. And nowhere to go but Down!
Weight Tuesday, August 2, 2011:188 even Down .8 from last week. It's a small amount but I am super proud of it because I have not felt well, stopped exercising on Friday. I found out yesterday I have swimmer's ear:Severe in the left and Mild to Moderate in the right. I could barely stand long enough to weigh myself this morning! But, despite these road blocks, I still managed to lose weight. I think dropping my calories really helped with this.

I started Sparkpeople yesterday, but I normally do weekly weigh-ins on Mondays. After a great workout yesterday and healthy eating, I've already lost 1.5 pounds! I don't expect to have many days like that, but even the "water weight" disappearing is nice to see :)

169. Need to hike some weight off this week.

I'm 5'8" and determined to make a change now. Ten minutes of fitness daily. Too many times I've fallen off the wagon, time to make long lasting positive habits stick. Can I do it?!

I missed my Wednesday weigh in so I am posting it today...I am up 2.4 lbs to 165 lbs.

I am not happy at all about this result but, not to make excuses, I kinda knew this would happen. Although my cardio is WAY up this week due to swimming and family activities, the family reunion with food galore (my daughter refereed to it as a feast) and drinking. Such is the yearly ritual of spending a week at the family cottage.

Back on track this week and plunging ahead!

Down 5.5 pounds this week to 182 for a total of 15 pounds since June 30. I assume one or both of the last couple of measurements are a little off, since I haven't been dieting or working out _that_ hard. Anyway, this puts me past the 25% mark towards my goal.

Okay I weighed in this morning at 178.8 which leaves along way to go before i see 155 again but at least it isn't up so YEAH ME!!!! BUT today has been a horrible day i ordered out lunch at work with everyone else and i ate more calories than i normally do in two meals!!! Pop corn for supper tonight.

So here's the deal...the weight loss center I go to every 2 weeks has a very scientific scale that gives al kinds of percentages but it is reading 2.7 pounds lighter (at least it's looking that way) than the digital scale at work. I am not sure which scale I should pay attention to but I have lost at least 1.5- 2 more pounds in the past week so I will try to just be happy with that.

Hi,
Fell off a bit at the end of the month, heat, minor medical procedure, blah blah. I'm back over 200 but I'm proud I tracked it rather than (only) crossing my fingers and hoping it's a scale malfunction. Back at it, even in the heat. Have a good week everyone.

Down a pound and I have a serious fitness plan in place for the next two weeks. I had a very solid and fit Spring season and I cannot give it up now.

UP a pound, and I was super consistent with diet and exercise! It's that old second half of menstrual cycle water gain...I give myself pep talks before hand so I'll take that weight gain for what it is and not get too disappointed with the actual number. I also gave myself two sparkgoodies, sympathy flowers!

Well after camping with well we all know, camping eating isn't normally all that " healthy" I am down 1 lb. I am happy with my results and I know that it's my 1st lb down and only 48 more to go! emoticon

I had a stagnant week last week after a 3 # loss the week before. I had to weigh myself early (usually weigh myself on Fridays) since I'm going camping for 4 days.

I lost a pound this week. It's been pretty steady at a pound per week average. That is awesome!! That means 50 # s less by next July 1st.

Greetings, this is the sparker formerly known as JennKHealth (hey there GoddessofHome!). I have fallen off the wagon after hitting a major plateau and decided that starting over for my new life and body would be more successful than clinging to old goals and ideas. I first started a few years ago at 195lbs and got down to 159lbs. I had one of those terrible end of the year experiences where my job went all wrong and I got dumped after thinking I'd be engaged soon and shot up to 174lbs in a matter of 3 weeks! I booked a trip to Mexico to chill out and scuba dive and regroup.

Now that I'm back from Mexico (with strep hahaha) I have made a new page, and a whole new Spark me. Brand new plan, and goals, for my brand new body. I can tell things have changed and what worked at 190lbs won't work now. So I restarted my spark! I start today at 170lbs and I have an ultimate goal of 140lb with muscle tone. I may go back to Mexico on August 20th, (it's that special to me, a big part of me wants to move there and work in a dive shop and get a tiny house in Playa del Carmen). I'd like to knock off a quick first 10lbs by then and have my bathing suit bottoms fit a little better again. I ordered them at 159lbs so it was a bit snug at 170 last week:D

I can't eat much with strep throat so that'll be a cheating jump start to this new plan:D I will try to eat some soup tonight after some tylenol. I've got the throat of a sick 2nd grader.

I'm 5'8" and determined to make a change now. Ten minutes of fitness daily. Too many times I've fallen off the wagon, time to make long lasting positive habits stick. Can I do it?!

July 15th- first weigh in 186.5
July 19th- 2nd weigh in 182
July 23rd- 3rd weigh in 179.5
July 26th- 4th weigh in 179.5

I know I am weighing myself too often. I should only weigh once a week. I am building a lot of muscle because working out and dancing a lot. Next weigh in will be next Tuesday! Wish me luck!

Weight Tuesday, April 19, 2011: 196.6 UP 5.2 from 3 weeks ago, wrong direction!
Weight, Tuesday, April 26, 2011: 198.2 UP 1.6 from last week
Weight, Tuesday, May 3, 2011: 195 DOWN 3.2 finally! All the tracking really paid off. This week, I will be aiming for my calorie range.

Weight, Tuesday, May 31, 2011: 196.2 DOWN 2 from last week, and feeling confident again.
Weight, Tuesday, June 14, 2011: 194.2 DOWN 2 from two weeks ago.
Weight, Tuesday, June 21, 2011: 192.8 DOWN 1.4 even with a weekend away surrounded by junk food, of which I ate none!
Weight, Tuesday, June 28, 2011: 192 DOWN .8 from last week, indulged at a picnic on the weekend, and had a rushed take out dinner last night that tracked afterwards added up to over 1300 calories! So, I will take being down even a little bit!
Weight Tuesday, July 5, 2011: 190.6 DOWN 1.4 from last week, and finally below the weight I was at mid March. I cheated a bit this weigh in, because I ran before I recorded my weight. Back on track now with my eating and exercise.
Weight, Tuesday, July 12, 2011: 194.2 UP 3.6. Family member had health issues and I spent a sleepless night at the ER, birthday celebrations for my eldest, no cardio, and TOM all contributed to this gain, but I am going to take it back off quickly!
Weight Tuesday, July 19, 2011: 191 Down 3.2 of the 3.6 I gained last week.

Weight Tuesday, July 26, 2011:188.8 Down 2.2 from last week, that is the last .4 of my regain, and 1.8 of new loss! It's also the second time I have been lower than my inital weigh in of 190.8 on March 15. 2 pounds lost in 4 months. And nowhere to go but Down!
