YMCA, Electric Slide, Celebrate
If my hubby will get out there (and he will if it's our song) is Amazed by Lonestar.
There are so many because I'm one of the ones on the dance floor all night long.

That's kind of a tough one.... Dancing is such an inate part of so many of our cultures here in South Africa and the various types of dancing that gets done at the weddings here is also quite something.... sometimes the guests will even start singing there own songs to dance to at any point in the ceremony no less!

But for me? Come out and play by the Offspring always gets me moving

Celeste
Keep moving!

Hmmmm ... I like the Cha-Cha song! Like some others, I like line-dance type songs, they get a LOT of people out on the floor. But I say no to the Hokey-Pokey...

I usually like for a line dancing song to come, that way more people seem to get into the mood...

Hmm, it's gotta be something rocking. Last time I got out onto the floor at a wedding was to ACDC "You Shook Me All Night Long" So, yeah. My best friend had a great play list, when she got married in 2006, with a lot of dance stuff from the 80's and 90s, like all our old cheesy MTV favorites.

And all the strange rock and rollers
You know you're doing all right
So hold on to each other
You gotta hold on tonight

A friend of mine is looking for a friend to go with her to a wedding this weekend, so she's having a contest to find her "+1". She brought up a really good question that I am going to ask all of you. What one song do you want to hear at a wedding to get you out on the dance floor?

For me it's the song Shout, from the movie Animal House.

Start: 286 (6/5/10)
Previous Lowest: 222 (8/31/08)

Goals:
Next Milestone: 222 -12/21/10 reached
Then: 220 by Christmas 2010 (reached 12/31/10)
Then: 207 (reached 2/12/11)
Then: 200 (reached 3/1/2011)
Final: 180 (reached 4/23/2011) - 173 reached on 4/30/11
Currently in reevaluation stage as to next goal

(fit into a medium again - goal reached 2/17/11!!!)
