I know how you feel. Those last few pounds can be so hard to shed. Keep trying. I checked into the Keto diet one time, but was not impressed. Now I'm glad I didn't do it. I've heard some horror stories about it, your's included.

I'm trying to lose about 20 lbs, but it is not easy. I'm 75, so a little restricted on some movements.

We can BOTH get there, if we are determined enough.

I've been looking at my tracker over the last several years, and it goes up and down, but basically I've stayed the same 15 pounds overweight for the last five years.

I'm only 5'2" so my 15 lbs is worse than average height people.

I'm frustrated as H%% and my doctor has been pestering me to lose weight.

I came off of a 2 year KETO diet last year in April because my cholesterol went up to 339. I didn't even know it could go that high. And no, I didn't lose any weight. I used the sticks and everything.

KETO brings many people's cholesterol down, but mine went way up. So now I'm on cholesterol meds, and I really want to get off of them.

This year I'll be 55. I feel like I'm cutting my life short by putting off what I need to do. And that is get rid of these 15 pounds that are weighing me down. Literally.

On the plus side, I joined the Beach Body on Demand program for $99 a year, and I completed my first workout an hour ago. It was the "You V2" one (a classic) where all the women in the video were overweight. I thought I could do this one no problem, but it kicked my butt.

I need some motivation to keep going, and I'm hoping people in this group can be my new tribe.

What's on your mind today, the start of a new decade? If you're reading this later, then what's on your mind today, the start of your new "again"?
