I'm currently reading All Or Nothing by Debbi Rawlins, from the September Blaze line at Harlequin. Still listening to Sam's Creed on audio.

I'm still listening to Sam's Creed on audiobook. Got a little over 4 hours to go, but I have to tell someone this: Usually I listen to music (Mamma Mia soundtrack is excellent to exercise with) or an audiobook. So there I am, shut up in "My room", formerly my son's bedroom, but now with my stereo, books and gazelle, and I'm on the gazelle listening to Sam's Creed, when I get to a "tearjerker" part. Thank goodness no one opened the door - there I was furiously going at it on the gazelle, tears streaming down my cheeks! LOL! The mark of a good romance book - it can bring me to tears!

I picked up my audio book from the Library, I started it last night. It is Strangers in Death by JD Robb. I love this series. While I was at the library they told me their is a spot on their website that you can download audio books to your ipod for free, so I checked it out and there are tons of books i would read. So I am excited about that.

I always buy the Tori Carrington books when they come out! It amazes me that a husband and wife team writes them - I couldn't imagine my husband writing a hot romance book! emoticon

I'm finishing the last story in a 3 story book called Rescue Me, then I'll start on a Blaze by Jill Shalvis called Flashback. Would have finished it last night but was watching the Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics!

I have this "thing" about always finishing a chapter before I stop reading. On the printed books, and most of the audiobooks I've listened to, a chapter runs 10 to 15 minutes. But on Sam's Creed I swear every chapter is at least 26 minutes long - so even if I just wanted to catch a short 20 minutes on the Gazelle, I'm on until the chapter is over! It's given me a lot more exercise time in the last week - the audiobook is over 11 hours long, and I'm not even half way through. My gain I guess! :)

Tonight I'm starting Killer Affair by Cindy Dees. It's book 3 of a 3 book mini-series called Seduction Summer. Cindy is one of my favorite authors - I know I won't be disappointed!

And while I'm on the gazelle? I just finished Janet Evanovich's Fearless Fourteen (terrific) and will start Sarah McCarty's Sam's Creed tonight. Really looking forward to it, as I really enjoyed Caine's Reckoning.

YES! I've read all of her Anita Blake, vampire hunter series except the last two. I'm reading Harlequin now, and I have Blood Noir on order.

I started reading the series out of order too. My recommendation is really to go back and start at the beginning because parts of her story are really continuous and add as each book goes along. The interwoven stories lines and scenarios with the characters can get quite complicated. Also, she mentions things that happened in previous books in the series that you won't know unless you've read them. I love the series though. It's addicting.

Here's a list of the series in order if you decide to read more. I think I read Blood Bones completely first and then decided to go back and start with Guilty Pleasures. Luckily my public library has most of the books.

Hope you enjoy reading Hamilton.

I got a Laurell K. Hamilton this weekend at the used book store. It is called Incubus Dreams. I don't think I have read any of her work before but the cover is interesting and it is mystery, horror, and romance, I think.

I just re-read the Black Dagger Brotherhood books by JR Ward and all the Karen Marie Moning books. Moning has a new Fever series that I was suspicious of. I really liked the Darkfever book though. It totally surprised me. There is a new one called Bloodfever that I haven't found even in hardback in the stores yet. Has anyone read Moning's books?

I am currently reading on a paranormal romance called Safe Harbor by Christine Feehan. I absolutely LOVE her books. She is my favorite author of all time. I have read this book before, but am re-reading it just as I have done plenty of her other books.
If ya'll are into parenormal romance I would really consider checking out some of her books.

Hey, everyone. I'm new to SparkPeople & the boards, but this is definitely the team for me!

Current reads/re-reads:
Nora Roberts - High Noon (loved it...cannot believe I left it in my TBR pile for so long)
Susan Mallery - Her Last First Date
Catherine Anderson - Morning Light
Deborah MacGillivray - Riding the Thunder (this author is our bookclub guest this month and so I always try to read one of the guest's books before bookclub. This is not one I would typically have bought, but the prologue was good. I just cannot seem to go beyond that which isn't a good sign)

I've started reading "The Promise of the Rose" by Brenda Joyce. English Lord vs. Scottish Princess. Guess who'll win?? emoticon I'm also reading a Harlequin called Princess Australia about an incognito Italian Prince in modern day Australia. I'm ususally reading two books at a time. I read quick Harlequins at lunch and then longer historicals, series, etc. in the evening. I read extremely fast so i can usually finish a thin Harlequin within 1 to 1-1/2 hours.

A goal without a plan is just a wish.

Right now, I'm reading a Harlequin, but I've got a bookcase full of nice thick historical romance ones I'll be starting shortly. A used bookstore went out of business, and they made me a great deal on boxes of books! I'm in seventh heaven! LOL
