Many if not all of us are now housebound and the gyms and fitness centres are all locked but we cannot let out fitness programs go into hibernation. It is time to find or develop a home workout as a part of our “work from home” situation. If you do not have any home equipment then bodyweight workouts will be your option. Having resistance bands or even some light dumbbells (2 to 5 pounds) will provide the resistance. Light dumbbells and high repetitions will produce surprising results. All of the strongmen including Eugene Sandow wrote books in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries laying out light dumbbell high repetition programs. There are many of these books available on Kindle and the internet. For the last 2 months I have been using “5 Pound Dumbbell Exercises” by Professor Attila with which I am finding very good results.
