That sucks. It feels like it takes away the whole run then. Glad you are ok.

I started a half-marathon program this week. Its easy and only had me run 3 miles this morning.

This last week I ran 5.3 miles on my treadmill two mornings before work. Today, Sunday, I ran outside 7 miles.

I have a 10k coming up in two weeks so every Sunday I try to do 3 plus miles. Today I did almost 8!!!( 7.75)

Yesterday, I finished my 10k training program by...running 10k. This week will be a recovery week from the program. I walked 1.5 miles this morning.

Yesterday, I ran a 10K with hills. I usually run flat races. It was a challenge but I am glas I did it. I ran the 6.2 miles in 48:18.

Ran a short, quick 3 this morning. Definitely need new sneaks, can anyone recommend any good ones. I have a narrow flat foot and usually get brooks or asics, but they are just so heavy. Have started running in a pair of skechers (because they are lighter) which is okay for short runs, but are not ideal for any serious running.

Wow KIMMEL79 the marathon is coming up soon but sounds like you are on track with your training.

Sounds silly but I did my first 5k yesterday then ran 2 more miles a bit later. The 5k race really helped me to push myself in my run.

7.58 miles along the beautiful Chicago Lake Front. Our first real warm day of the year. In spite of the wind, which added much resistance, it was an absolutely gorgeous day. I am so very thankful, considering the winter we had.
