Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it's a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they're terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

Janice,
Sorry. I though that because of the way is was written out (with capital letters) on your Facebook page ("Highly Qualified Para Educator") that it was a special title or maybe even an acronym. I do know what "para" means. For some reason it struck my brain in a different way.
Thanks for clearing up my head.
Blessings to you,
-annie

If your asking me, then Para as in ParaEducator. The person who works with children in school as their helper or in my case with Autistic children, I'm actually their teacher.
The dictionary defines it : "a prefix appearing in loanwords from Greek, most often attached to verbs and verbal derivatives, with the meanings “at or to one side of, beside, side by side” "
We work "side by side" with children educating them thus ParaEducator.

CAROLEFAITHWALK - Interesting stuff!! :-)
It seems to dovetail with some research I've done regarding ions...etc.

That took me to FIR ..interesting stuff, too! then a friend recommended I check out www.richwayusa.com - the biomat. And another website http://www.healthyfocus.thebiomatcompany.u
s/ ... is the one I use.

The low body temp and hypothyroidism...hyperthermia therapy..etc..very interesting as well. Led me to http://www.hansacenter.com/ ... a clinic where they have med drs as well as naturopathic drs...that integrate assessing the body and then recommending treatment methods...hopefully helping the body heal iteself. Their dr's have written some interesting articles. And have recommended use of the biomat in some of their therapies...as well as other light therapy.

I'm understand some about alkalininity and acidity. I'm not convinced about alkaline or acidic water benefits...seems to be 1/2 & 1/2 on the pros and cons - or neutrals - as I've done research. (though we DO use a water purification unit!! - but not connected with richway's) However, ...the negative ions and FIR and hypertherapy really have some great reviews..applications...and in our experience in our family and friends and acquaintances around our area - some interesting anecdotal observations.

The electrical aspects of the body are very intriguing!!

Thanks for sharing your information!!

They said therefore to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God? Jesus replied, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him Whom He has sent."

Some interesting recipes there; with nice photos. I always like the drool factor that comes with good photography...LOL

Too bad the website is still caught up in the idea that fat makes us fat and that grains don't. A fat free dish doesn't equate a fat free body. Still, thanks for this; I bookmarked it and have already copied a couple of recipes from it for my personal file. I'm such a recipe addict.

-Dr. Andrew Saul

Carol, I'm not familiar with "green" lentils though I've used the red and brown ones a lot in my life. I have found that those two cook up the same. I just can't place green lentils--going to look that one up. My guess is that they cook the same too.

Thanks REGSHAR for ASH, I notice two of my heros Nobel Laureate Dr. Linus Pauling, Nobel Laureate Otto Warburg are included in ASH's theories, and Barney's personal story is inspiring.

Thanks Annie I subscribed to her blog, I'm going to make her Lentil Veggie Soup w/ Collards, with apple cider vinegar instead of sherry vinegar, and I'm going to make them in the Crock Pot. I have been looking for a recipe to use up my lentils, no matter how healthy they are I don't like them. Her recipe calls for green lentils; do you think brown would work okay? Someone who loves and cooks with all kinds of lentils please let me know because I have no clue.

Dr. Tennant - brilliant person, read his bio. Voltage & iodine expert.
Dr. Starr - thyroid expert.

Dr. Apsley is an expert in cellular colloidal chemistry, of which voltage and pH play an important function in disease prevention and cures. He has a book coming out soon on curing cancer.

Dr. Tennant didn't know about thyroid. Dr. Starr didn't know about cellular voltage. Dr. Apsley, studying cancer, recognized overlap between the two docs' areas of expertise, and introduced them to each other. Some of the bridges between the two are: iodine, cancer, pain, pH, heart disease, and diabetes. Together the two docs are busting wide open new doors to true healing of many "incurable" diseases, and have been correspondingly blackballed by "traditional standard of care" medical doctors.

Both doctors, Starr and Tennant, are licensed by the Arizona Board of Homeopathic and Integrated Medicine Examiners MD(H). This is to escape licensing lynching by state medical licensing boards (traditional medicine).

www.tennantinstitute.com/
"We have seen that cells are designed to run at -20 millivolts. Cells need -50 millivolts to make new cells to heal. Chronic disease occurs when voltage drops below -20 millivolts. As voltage drops, these things happen:"

"1.Cells dont have enough energy to work correctly.
2.Chronic pain is caused by low voltage.
3.As voltage drops, the amount of oxygen in cells drops, switching from aerobic (oxygen-available) metabolism to anaerobic (oxygen diminished) metabolism.
4.With anaerobic metabolism, one unit of fat makes only two molecules of ATP whereas with aerobic metabolism, one unit of fat makes 32 molecules of ATP.
5.With anaerobic metabolism, microorganisms begin to grow and put out toxins to dissolve our cells so they can eat us."

"The Biomodulator can measure the voltage in the organs so you know whether the organ is functioning normally, is healing, or the voltage has dropped below normal and can't heal without inserting electrons. When you find low voltage, you can switch to the treatment mode and raise the voltage in the cells to -50 millivolts so they can heal."

Here's another natural/organic supplement site. This is a new company called HelixLife. They take a cheek swab sample and test your DNA and find where your body is deficient in vitamins, and once you receive that report they can customize a natural vitamin for you individually. They also have non-customized vitamins full of natural/organic ingredients called, "bright." www.HelixLife.com

That site really looks interesting. I'm tempted to download her ebook but I'm so poor right now I'm afraid to. I'm so curious about her detox and cleansing diet. It looks pretty basic but, you know, something new, by a new author can sometimes create a fresh action...LOL!

Bookmarked anyway.

-Dr. Andrew Saul

I just ran across this website:
www.rwood.com/index.htm
and really like it. Though, she is trying to sell her cookbooks, she does have alot of info & recipes on the website. Plus, she looks like a nice Grandmotherly type! I just want to go hang out with her in her kitchen!

Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, website he has a Links page, lots and lots of links there to explore that look really good:
www.healthranger.org/links.html

His bio is also on this site, he states he cured himself of Type 2 diabetes and tells how he did it.

I receive emails from D. Mercola.

Have not seen the others but did like what I did see.

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. "
Thomas Jefferson

Hey team! I thought it would be a good idea to have a section that we can add to the links we like for gathering information on natural healing. Is there any particular websites you like?

Post them here!
