The weeks are going by so fast - yet exercise time goes by so slow!
I am rather discouraged to only have lost a very few pounds. My exercise buddy has lost 13!

Well, stress is bad for weight loss. Lots of Spark articles about that. Except my problem is that I get stressed out about being stressed! there's just no winning....

how goes the plan for this week?

seems like it's mostly a review of the past two weeks

at least I have fruit in the house this time!

Eating out was OK - it was Japanese, so mostly rather light. The weekend as a whole was stressful, and I didn't lose any weight. That bums me out!

How did eating out go for you?

We were camping this weekend, so I noticed that because we shop differently for camping, I eat better! I had my daily serving of fruit before Noon each day. Now if I can just train myself to shop like that on a regular basis, I'll do great!

I guess the point is to know what works! I could see how the numbers can be discouraging too.
We are going out to eat tonight, and as I don't know the menu I don't have a plan. Kinda nervous!

Well, that I understand. I think it's the exact opposite for me. As counter-intuitive as it might seem, looking at the scale sends me BACK to the couch!

I weigh every day that I go to the gym. My scale at home broke! If I don't weigh myself I lose sight of how serious my problem is. It would seem I could just look in the mirror and see the problem, but truth is if I don't look at the number on the scale I become complacent.

It's taken me so long to get that far, I've stopped weighing myself because I get depressed and feel like I'm not making progress. The reality is that I have lost one dress size, I can actually jog for an extended length of time, and I can do a mile in 8 minutes (I couldn't even do that in high school). SO despite what the scale says, I know I am fitter. Ooh, wouldn't that be a fun scale? It just says Congrats! You are doing great! Way to go! I think I would be hopping on it all the time! lol

Yes, the water or hot tea does seem to help.
It does feel weird to put goals in writing. I haven't made a vision board yet either. But I have been doing my goals.
I haven't lost any weight, which is really discouraging. That is my main need - just too much of me for my heart and bones.

So far I have done two of my three fast break goals. Yeah! I started actually writing out my goals last night. it felt weird to put it in writing--no wonder he says to do that!

Yes, extra exercise does seem to trigger hunger! Drink a glass of water or eat a piece of fruit high in fiber (I would go with the fruit). The high fiber fills you up fast and there's no guilt involved with the food.
