Sounds like you are at the right level for the exercise you are doing. Try to include some strength training as well a couple times each week to further engage the muscles and be patient.

Here is some post pregnancy core restoration information to get you started.

Thanks Coach --

On average I'm taking in approx. 1600-1800 cal/day, and I'm exercising for about an hour jogging on the treadmill. I'm not looking for huge weight loss, just maybe half a pound or a pound a week.
I do feel good, and can actually button some of my pre-preggo pants up, I guess the body will react when it's good and ready.

Your body is still in recovery and if your calorie intake doesn't match exercise that will just add to it. How many calories are you consuming on average? What is your energy output for exercise? It is all a balancing act that creates just a slight daily deficit to promote a slow weight loss of a pound a week. Looking for bigger losses then that is unrealistic and would not be healthy. Hopefully you put the weight on slow and steady and so you have to take it off that way as well.

Not breastfeeding, normal delivery (down the chute!) and all healed. I've been exercising 6 days a week and watching what I eat too. Am I expecting too much too soon?

Are you breastfeeding? Did you have a normal delivery (whatever that really is!) with minimal tearing that needs to heal?

I know you're not supposed to worry about weight loss until you're 6 weeks postpartum, but I've been exercising and eating (reasonably) well and the weight isn't moving! Anyone have similar experience?
