I took my daughter to a 5k on Saturday. Her on her little bike and myself on foot. It was great to have her with! I would have usually ran it, but it was good to share my fitness with her!
I have been outside everyday since with yesterday being the exception. I live in ND and we had a wind storm. There are not a lot of trees here so that can be a challenge to be outside in and cold!!

RUNGEORGIA- I think I would have to skip out on something else before using less vodka haha !! That is great for exercising everyday emoticon I hear you on the weather, I would much rather be outside but have had to stick to the gym

This weeks challenge:

Get some sort of cardio in at least 3 times this week lasting at least 20 min! Try and get the whole family in and enjoy the weather if its nice.

ex: Yesterday was so nice I took the girls out walking around the island, feeding the ducks and got them ice cream

been exercising almost every day, be it on the treadmill or outside. the weather is getting sticky around here so if I'm running outdoors it has to be really early before the heat kicks in.

This week I had less vodka in my nightly cape codder, which likely eliminates some unnecessary calories. Also I have been eating sorbet instead of ice cream, which saves about 100 calories.

1. Everyday I stop & get a Dunkin Donuts Coffee (with cream and sugar)= today I ordered it with just sugar an used FF creamer from home

2. I normally do a bagel and cream cheese= today I ate whole wheat toast with RF cream cheese

3. For lunch instead of the bread I made my sandwich with FLATOUT (a low fat wrap I saw on Oprah)

emoticon With these 3 simple things a cut out close to 200 calories

Sorry about last week- I was SOO busy at work I didn't even think about getting online (Not that I'm complaining about being busy emoticon )

I have stuck with my workout for 2 weeks now and I'm loving it!! How is everyone else doing ??

The challenge for this week is ....
Look at your everyday meals and find a way to cut calories- it's much easier than you think!! This menas you also have to count your calories

Monday- Gym (30 min elliptical & legs) emoticon

Tuesday- 2 mile walk/jog & 300 crunches emoticon

Wednesday- Gym (30 min elliptical & arms)

Thursday- 2 mile walk/jog & 300 crunches

Friday- Gym (45 min elliptical)

Saturday- Gym (45 min elliptical)

Sunday- take the dogs for a run

Tuesday - treadmill run
Wednesday - yoga or treadmill run
Thursday - early morning outside run
Friday - weather permitting early morning outside run
Saturday - not so early morning run
Sunday - Swim

It was suggested to me to do weekly challenges instead of daily to hopefully get more people to participate in them and also make it easier for me to keep up on since I am not normally on everyday.... I thought this was a GREAT idea emoticon And really hope more people will jump right in.

The Challenge will run from Monday-Sunday
