Well it's not 10 miles, but I got in three miles with a 5 & 1 run walk interval. I am impressed that I was able to keep running all the way up a very looong hill. First time 4 that. I am training for a 10K for the first time in May. I might only do the 5k to start.

Keep on slogging!

2.28 miles this morning! This will be my normal daily route unless I am doing a longer run. My goal is to do at least 2 miles per day. I am already up to 13.5+ miles this week!

I felt bad that I did not get my 5 miles in yesterday (only 1.59) so I decided to make up for it today, I did 8.5 miles today! This week's total miles between running, walking, rowing and biking was 43.11 miles! I like it!

10 miles is awesome! I can' t even imagine doing that. :)

I did my longest run ever today. It was 5.5 miles and I finished in 66 minutes. I am training for a 10k at the end of the month. I think I am ready!

I broke through the wall! It was a struggle, but I busted out a solid 10.16 miles today. My legs gave up around 7 miles, but i pushed through. Now I will let my legs rest a little as they have had a tough week at Crossfit!

Running has been tough lately, with all the stuff going on in my life it is hard to make my brain stop long enough for me to get in a groove. I was finally able to run last Tuesday...

Tuesday 3.82 miles

I am hoping to get back in a groove soon, maybe just run for as long as I can each day or something.

Today I walked 1-1/2 miles (thought of walking some of it backward, it being Leap Year day, but too afraid I'd stumble and fall).

Looking forward to next Tuesday when my women's running clinic starts (it will run for 10 weeks). A friend down the street joined too, so it's good to have a buddy.

They're having a potluck tomorrow night (all members of clinics invited).

RisenPhoenix, I can empathize with you, and you have my sympathy over the loss of your mother. The pain lessens in intensity as the years go by, but it doesn't disappear.

Today would have been my mom's 82nd birthday (she died at age 68).

Yesterday I walked 1-1/2 miles around the nearby intermediate school track (I'm lucky that it is an entire 1/2 mile from me.

Today I'll probably be walking between 1-2 miles as I spend 2-3 hours cleaning the house.

I'm not yet a slogger, but I'm proud to be a PLODDER!

I just feel a bit like bragging on myself... I haven't done any long runs in a few weeks, but today I got out for a 16 miler! And followed that up with an hour in the gym. Fat I am, Slow I may be, but hey I had a good day!

Today was a hard day, cried myself to sleep realizing that my mom will never see me get married, have kids, or lose the weight and live a healthy life (10 year anniversary of her death). My run suffered thanks to being in my head today, I ran 1.75 miles to the college to run on the track only to find out they don't have one, caught a bus to Crossfit and did today's WOD and yesterday's test, attempted to run to tehrapy but only got 2.66 miles before bussing teh rest of the way. After therapy I met up with a friend and we went to teh Aquarium to meet the baby Otter pup, super cute! Then we went to Nike Running Club and did 3 miles- it was painful but I finished. I am happy with the work I put in, especially on such a hard day, sure wish it hadn't landed the day before my 8 month weigh in though.

Morning Run:

Distance- 1.75
Time- 26:06

Afternoon Run:

Distance- 2.66
Time- 42:13

Evening Run:

Distance- 3.0
Time- 36:15

Today was a beautiful day in Seattle, the sun was out, the air was warm-ish and Mt. Rainier was clear! Today was my Great Uncle's funeral and when I got home I had to take advantage of the last hour of sun, I learned that my Uncle was an avid outdoorsman (he had been sick most of my life so I had not known this), he loved being in nature so I thought it was fitting to run for him today. I did an easy 4.11 miles around Edmonds, such a pretty little town at sunset!

Today I started my lunch runs, I hate being so inactive at work so I have decided to walk during my 15 min breaks and run for 20 min of my 30 min lunch break. Today I ran 1.52 miles, the goal is to run 10 min south daily and see how far I get each day.

I busted out my longest run to date today!!! A whoping 16.04 miles!!! I am so happy to have busted through the wall, I haven't ran more than 8.5 miles since my half marathon (my training plan had me back track since I had 6 months before my full) and I was worried I might not be able to go that far anymore since last week was so awful.

Snowmaggedon is slowly being drowned in rain, so I laced up my shoes for the first time in a week and went for a very soggy, but needed run! And then bike ride- I figured a short Brick workout was better than running a few miles an dheaidng home.

Ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Ran 1.91 miles at a pace of about 15 minutes per mile.

Pretty slow for me overall, but I'm showing recent progress. I really wish I could run outside (where I am much faster), but it is WAY too cold. Not to mention, it dark when I leave for work in the morning, and dark when I come home. Oh well...moving along...

Did 3.22 miles today. Kudos to those of you running in the snow. I'm not that brave yet. BUt then we get snow maybe 4 or 5 times a winter at the most.

I ran 6.52 miles in several inches of snow today, I did it WAY faster (3-4 min per mile) than I normally run somehow.

Today was supposed to be an easy 8-9 miler, but turned out being 10.14 miles instead... Had near muscle failure around mile 9, thanks to an impromptu 8.5 mile bike ride and "Fran" yesterday. No more ignoring rest days for this girl. The Crossfit warm up was a run too, I declined.

Only 1.5 miles running today, and another 2 just walking. My legs were killing me and my body was tired. Just couldn't do my usual 3 miles.

The hardest 4.6 miles that I have done in a long time- 3 days of recovery and my legs still were not ready to take the hills and distance- well they better shape up as Tuesday is a solid 9.

SP was being buggy yestedray so I couldn't post...

Yesterday I did 10 hills (2.81 miles) and 5.94 miles of just running.
