Today, instead of driving up to my aunts to let her cats out and look after her house I walked... total walk was about 6km round trip!

i refrained from buying pizza and instead bought more raisin bran and bananas at the store today. its a help already knowing that temptation isn't in my fridge right now.

I started strength training after putting it off/being scared about it for way too long! I love doing cardio, but these last 10-15 pounds won't budge, so I think this will help me finally reach my goals.

Be better than you were yesterday.

I joined the 28 day bootcamp yesterday and am making plans for the week. i need to focus on my body again, it'll make life at work a lot easier if i can do that (and working on getting enough sleep by exercising regularly will definitely help)

Thankful for the whole day and actually the whole month of July! I actually have beaten my record from 2009 (my new goals) of 198 miles, walking and I have done it!! GO ME!!! Heck I am going back out again let's see how many more I can get with 3 days left of JULY2011!!

I met a new health buddy today and she lives down the street! She has opened my eyes and made me aware of what i am putting in my body.... I starting for the first time and it really feels good!

WELL... i got up and did my p90x workout...day 4. Spent the day with our two wonderful boys. Had dinner ready for my husband when he got home from work so we could eat as a family...it was an all around GREAT day!

Looked back over the mistakes that I made in my life earlier.Rather than regretting what I did I realized that I learnt from them and I am stronger than I was ever before... and another thing that makes me proud is telling you all that " Life is beautiful just love it and smile and it would love you back!" = emoticon emoticon

Today I got out of bed at 6:15am, made some delicious oatmeal with cooked apples & had green tea, ran to one of the few parks in Florence, & had myself and nice run/walk for an hour until I ran back home, and walk a mile to class & back.

The run felt amazing! I haven't ran/ woken up for a jog that early in way too long! The cold air was completely refreshing & Florence felt like mine for a little while without all the noise :)

I've been "on plan" all day! :) Drank all my water, ate only the 'ok' foods, took all my vitamins! (day #2 of this! great start! =o)

I walked to work instead of getting a ride. Though not by choice, it did feel good because I'm going out of town and alread weary of the fact I may not be healthy while gone. Though my sister is training for a marathon so she will probably drag me with her happily.

eplfan I know how it feels to want to sleep instead. I was supposed to wake up at 7am, I hit snooze twice and then i didn't wake up until 7:45am. I was a bit upset at myself but then I got up and realized I could go leave by 8am and still be out earlier than usual.

I've been trying to mix up my fitness routine - have become too reliant on cardio machines at the gym and am trying to do things that are a little less taxing on my body right now. So even though it was REALLY hard, I stayed home and did some yoga/basic strength. I know that's what is best for me right now...and I'm not going to beat myself up over it!

I recently ran my first half marathon! When I started training, I couldn't even run a mile without stopping. Training for the race was the first time I've ever consistently done cardio in my life, and the first time I've ever tried running. I learned that I can accomplish what I set my mind to, even if it's a fitness goal!

It was a flook but I got out and exercised earlier.
I had a crazy dream and woke up at 8:30 so I was able to get out by 9:15 instead of getting out at the normal 10-11am.

I realized a few things that made me happy.
1. there are less cars out so its easier to cross the street and walk in the street.
2. It's not as hot so I can go longer.
3. my biggest is that there were less bugs, those flying june bug beetle things that fly into me all the time weren't really out. I only had to deal with 2 as opposed to the 30 or more.

I put my workout clothes on and went and walked first thing this morning! Then I came home, did ab work, push-ups and then spent 11 additional minutes stretching and working on flexibility.

I got up and immediately put on my workout clothes and headed to the local track to walk for 27 minutes with my walking buddy. I then came home and did some ab work and push-ups and rounded out my exercise time with a nice relaxing stretch. Exercising first thing in the morning is tough for me, but it's the best thing I can do to guarantee I work out!

I ate breakfast. I have a habit of skipping breakfast but I know that its the most important meal of the day so for the last two weeks I have been eating breakfast daily.

This morning I picked up my weights (only 3 lbs but one in each hand) and did 1 rep of ten side and front exercises. I think the only exercises I've ever done in the past in the AM were crunches/leg lifts, and that was a WHILE ago.

So that made my happy. It was a lot simpler then i thought it would be and didn't take that much time :)

Got my bike that I bought 6 mos ago, put air in the tires, and went on my first real bike ride in over 10 years :-) Loved it!

I took a break from exercise today, which I usually feel guilty about. Also, my students gave me a large bag of candy and I didnt open it and decided to bring it home for my family. My favorite part, most of my students have been thinking to buy me healthy treats because they know I am working hard!!!

I do this for me... and my Wedding Dress!!

Today, I got my butt out of bed at 5:45 am and ran 4 miles. I had to be flexible with my training plan this week, but I did it, and I am totally on track!

I went to a work party today and watched very closely what I ate. The chips and salsa got me, but I was very conscious and had control! I also didn't skip strength training today.

I ate a big breakfast with lots of protein and only had one cup of coffee!

I have also decided that I am going to rest and not exercise today, which is much needed after the last week or so.

I went to bed early last night, woke up early and feeling quite good. I ate breakfast for the first time in forever- keeping moderation key, I drunk some water, and went for a 60 min walk. I came back home, ate again in moderation (now using smaller plates)and drunk more water. I feel amazing!
