Well this afternoon I pulled out all my favorite vegetables, and I am going to make a stir fry later... I personally don't like cooking at all and have always had my mom around to do all the cooking, but with her away on a trip I have to start cooking... Before I found SP, I was buying fast food on a regular basis, but now I make myself cook, and so far making stir fry's are my favorite, cause I can put as much vegetables as I want, and eat with rice or pasta.

Today, the first time I thought about doing my scheduled weight training session, I did it. Without putting it off until later in the day.

Thats a big step! I'm a terrible procrastinator!

It was actually something I did yesterday. I went out last night and only had 1 drink AND I tracked it on my tracker haha! That makes me feel really proud and that I really do have will-power!

Even though I didn't feel like exercising today and made up 100 different excuses why I couldn't, I did it anyway!

I actually ran on the treadmill at the gym today. I hate doing it, but I did it, and I even decided to get some friends together and run a 10k this May so that I can have something to work towards!

today I got up and went to the gym to take a 30 minute ab class... and I wound up taking that, and then doing an hour long spin class!! Woohoo! I'm so excited!

After not exercising for almost a year, I did my first workout. I completed the strength training exercises that SP set for me and then went outside in 27 degree weather and briskly walked for 30 minutes. I stayed within my calories allotment. Drank more than enough water for the day. AND I'm not sore at all. I thought I'd be alot more sore. I'm planning on doing strength 3x week and walk for 30 minutes every day. That might change once I start working (which I should find out today what's what on schedule etc). emoticon emoticon

I wasn't going to go to the gym today because I was scheduled to get off work late. Even though it is my scheduled day to go, I didn't want to because of a poor excuse. I learned that I am getting off early, and I have decided to go to the gym now because I realize it helps me stay focused and also helps channel the stress out of me....and I need that right now.

I have been encouraging my father to start walking his dog. The first day I called he was somewhat reluctant, but yesterday when I called he seemed a bit more excited and had already walked him. I think the positive reinforcement is helping.

I know it is a little thing but I got in the floor and played with my daughter today. She did my yoga workout with me. She is only 11 months and is trying to copy me. I didn't think I would get to do it because she is teething and didn't want to sleep long enough for me to get it in. But I did. And I am proud that I worked in in though it would have been ohhh so easy to skip today.

Great job, guys! I have been making an extra effort to work out. I've been going to the gym Mon, Wed, Fri to do 45 mins of cardio and during vinyasa yoga on my "days off".

Way To Go Everyone!!!

I'm proud that I didn't go over my calorie limit yesterday after going to dinner with my boyfriend. The first thing I did was box half of my dinner up. And now I'm about to go to the gym before it snows.

You guys are doing great.

I feel wonderful I did some exercising earlier and plan on more later. I normally struggle with the water intake but not today. I'm drinking water left and right and also running to the bathroom often. Hopefully that will stop soon. I have pneumonia so today is the first day that I could accually try and it went great. Way to go me!!

- woke up 8 a.m. and went for a 30 min run in the park before school
- ate clean throughout the day and stayed under calories limit
- drank about 10 cups of water
- studied for my finals
- did about 230 crunches + 10 pushups and 10 triceps dips

I feel great!!!

I did a 20 minute Turbo Jam cardio work out and then I did the Ab Jam routine while Ben was napping. I have also drank 6 glasses of water already and dinner is in the crockpot. emoticon

I couldn't get outside or a babysitter, so I ran up and down the stairs 20 times and did 100 crunches, 24 reverse crunches. Now I'm trying to get off my butt to do some yoga.

Am I the only one proud of myself???

Today I have so far half the water I need and am keeping my glass full. I am taking time to explore the site and get to know all the benefits it offers us. So I am proud that I am ready to take this serious. Tracking my food and my workout.. Also took a sip of soda and thought while doing it and put it away. Did not pour it out but maybe that is what I will do now that I am thinking about it more... Goal one is not to buy anymore soda

I am proud of myself for commiting to stay on track today. I have started the day out with a low calorie breakfast and now I am leaving for the gym.

Great idea.

I walked a mile and a half with my dog Snoopy this morning in 7 degree weather. It is always harder for me to get motivated when the weather outside is cold.

I put on my yoga gear and plan to pull out the mat as soon as the little guy takes a nap. Wearing my workout outfits helps keep me focused on getting it in.
