I did my 5k training (w3d2) in 39 degree weather while it was raining with snow and ice still on the ground and my glasses were covered in rain. emoticon

Even though I slept through my alarm, I still got my butt out of bed in time to jog on the treadmill a full 45 minutes before heading off to work. It was slow going at first, but I eventually woke myself up and got my heart rate pumping!

i continue jump rope after my lower body workout even though felt like i couldn't continue and my legs felt rubbery! but after 1 interval, sort of my energy came back and i completed my cardio for the day :D

I did my taxes! (Which unfortunately distressed me enough to put me on a mini eating binge) But I also didn't go over my calorie allotment for today! (I haven't even reached my minimum range yet, and I've already eaten dinner!)

I also emailed my mom, my dad, and my godmother to catch up on news.

today i have a friend coming out to visit and i cleaned the entire house in 3 hours and didn't get overtired. Normally, it takes me all weekend cuz after one or two rooms i get distracted or exhausted and usually give up. So i am very proud of doing this. and yesterday i dodged a tsunami that was supposed to hit, but pooped out around the islands... thanking my lucky stars above for that one. :-D

I'm writing a grocery list for our grocery shopping today. Will stick to the list, and am only getting one item for snacks/candy for tonight. In the tacos we're having today I'll have cucumber and peas in addition to the meat, cheese and corn based chips. I often go low on carbs, but higher on proteins. Also I put pears on our shopping list.

Even though I had "saved" up some of my calories today by eating smaller meals, I wasn't tempted to grab a cookie or a brownie as a treat. I'm eating fruit instead!

Today I made good decisions at mealtimes, opting for healthy foods and LOTS of vegetables. I had some major cravings in the afternoon, but I was able to satisfy myself with just a couple small pieces of chocolate and kept within my calorie range.

Was out of the house a bit before 11 AM, walked quite a lot of steps today at a higher pace than my regular pace, and did the faster walking on my way home in the evening even though I was pretty tired by then.

I ate the breakfast and lunch that I packed and walked to the nearby book store to get some books I need for studying.

Made dinner and ate dinner, did the laundry, folded old laundry, baked brownies, and exercised all in the last three hours.

If I make it through the SP January Jumpstart Challenge, I'm buying a new Jillian Michaels DVD. Any suggestions?

I didn't go to the gym. I am sick but I was feeling like I should still go work out. Then I realized that I've already gone 4 times this week and my body needs to rest. So, I curled up in comfy clothes and stayed in. :)
