I twisted my ankle today. Boo! It hurts and I am scared it will set me back on my fitness plan. But, the positive is that it is already starting to heal. I can't believe this happened. Maybe until it happens to you, you just can't imagine.

Drank more than enough water and the day isn't over. And I completed an Insanity workout. Oh and my friends and I are want to do a 30 day fitness challenge so that we can all kick start the year appropriately, so I set up my plan and am sharing it through my social media too!

25 min run today on the multi use trail. I didn't eat the best today but all in all i'm satisfied with it.

God grant me the Serentiy to except the things I can not change

I just read a SparkPeople article that shows 300 and 400 calorie meals. I had a realization I am eating way too much food. I think I should start recording my food again. It seems like such a chore, but I KNOW it will help.

I hope you found good cards. Shopping on Christmas Eve was probably horrible.

I have been a little over on calories for all except one day this week. Today and tomorrow have good chances at going over as well, but they seem to all be below 2500 calories. So at least I have not gone overboard.

Omg here too! It's getting chilly. I woke up at like 4:30 but started my yoga a while later.

Yoga is making me feel good. I did some stretches and massage with the foam roller, feels really nice. I would recommend everyone to try it. It really helps to loosen up your muscles and get out some of that pain stuck in your body.

Missing veganism something fierce. Starting tomorrow, 100% oil/sugar free vegan for a week, then travelling to Iceland (not a vegan friendly country lol) and then back to veganism for good for me :D

Good morning! Happy Saturday! I'm off to a good start this a.m.

I usually don't eat breakfast, but I've been working on incorporating it into my day because I realize it's important. So I started visualizing how yummy a morning smoothie would be and I got myself so pumped up that I made my very first one this morning! It came out beautifully!

I added flax seed to the mix and really enjoyed it. So hopefully I can continue doing that, or incorporating other easy and healthy things into my morning rituals.

The day is going good - getting organized with challenges, spark teams, running errands, will spend some time with family. In the morning went for a short walk and did some qi gong and tai chi - trying to loosen up my muscles and stretch it out after having back/foot problems for the past few weeks.

Hehe, apparently I misunderstood the June challenge. I thought for one person, need to do at least 20-min every morning before work so we can get 20/20. But the correct fact:

"The challenge will run from June 3-June 28. It will go from Mon-Fri every week so the goal is to be 20/20 in morning workouts.
The minimum workout time is 10 minutes and you must check in just to let us know what workout you did. " - Andrea ~ ANH102712

So, from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th, I pushed myself to do at least 20-min every morning before work, even the day I woke up from a nightmare and felt lack of rest!

The best part is I keep on moving more but the worst part is I feel lied by myself LOL

I'm Isabelle from Quebec. I like the "daily check ins" sort of post because it keeps me accountable. So today, so far, veggies and a lot of water.

It's raining outside but still planning to go walking (I try to walk 30 minutes 3 to 5 times a week, on my lunch break).

Try to start early, do your workouts in the morning, even if just short 10-min. And you can do more later the day but the most important thing is you have start your exercise earlier :D

Hi everyone - newbie to the team here, but not new to Spark. I just wanted to say hello! This week has been a bit of struggle to start that healthy eating since I feel like I can't even find time to get to the grocery store. My husband and I were set to go last night and were too tired....we have a trip planned for the weekend. It's gorgeous out today and I am going to try to get in my 10 min of walking at lunchtime.

Since Saturday till today (Tuesday), no workout, body feel so lazy or heavy, dunno which one, maybe both! But tomorrow, 1st May is Labour Day in Malaysia which means a public holiday so should be no excuse to run away from exercises! Plan to do ZWOW #64, the 15-min AMRAP :D

I beat my time on ZCUT #2 today! I feel fantastic!

Also, I finished out my spring semester at college. WOOOO for the summer off! haha After that, I'm headed to Nursing School in the Fall! So darn excited!

I'm starting new exercise plan where I do exercise daily but not lengthy one but short workouts, keep myself active every day :D And my plan is to do exercise in the morning and throughout the day and none for night, to get things done as soon as possible while energy still high!
