Sadly I gained 3 pounds over the holidays however I have already lost two of them this week. Maybe if I can lose two more I will be ready for my Friday weigh in. ha ha

I was really good for my husbands birthday Friday, but totally blew it yesterday. ate cake, chocolate covered almonds, and didn't track my food. Didn't even weigh in this morning,because I don't wanna know..

BIG confession

I had a huge muffin with butter icing on top

Than i had trifle

Then i ate the cake (it was christening cake so would have been rude not to!)

Plus i had sausage rolls, mini sausages, cheese, pinapple and pickle onions on sticks...

I did miss the entire christening (my husband was godfather!) standing outside with a screaming baby who was obviously in lots of pain! Luckily there was a children's nurse there or i'd have jumped in a passing car to hospital!!!

I went to OC Burgers and had gilled chicken sandwich(good right??) It was the fries that got me!! I ate all my fries and then some of my husbands!! I could not slap myself away from the fries!! Potatoes are my weakness!! Fried, boiled, baked, mashed, doesnt matter. Thank goodness it will be a blip in the road and not a mountain!!

Oiii....over the past weekend I ate so much junk food. We went to the drive in Saturday night and bought a bunch of junk to eat, then we had leftovers so we watched a movie and ate those Sunday night. I was bad. I gained 3 pounds in 1 weekend... I'm not going to freak out though...I'm just going to have a GREAT week and an even better weekend!!!! Thanks for listening!

I'm so sorry about your troubles :-( Flooding is so hard to deal with, our office got it bad and we're displaced, but so happy that it wasn't my home, you have my sympathy! With all things considered, your gain could have been worse! You can bounce back!!

I have to confess that over the past 3 and a half weeks I have been bad. First is started with my house flooding then my husband returned from a military deployment. Things kept adding up and I stoppped exercising and stopped counting calories. Needless to say, I gained about 5 pounds in the past month.

I am starting back today and I will probably go extreme to try and lose the 5 quickley and get back to where I was. I am so tired of this weight yo-yo I have been living on!

Ate too many calories yesterday for the first time in a while-1691. Officially 131 calories over my max, and i'm not going to beat myself up, but I know it will put a small kink in my plan to keep on trucking with this loss

That stupid scale!!!! Well, stupid me, perhaps. So I peeked today, and it said 186.4. Then I got the bright idea to weigh myself after my run. 185.4. Yeah, I'm happy it's going down, but now, I CAN'T get that number out of my head, and as that's my "new"weight, then I have less chance of seeing a difference come Sunday.

Why in the heck do I DO this to myself? I'm NOT going to weigh in again until Monday-the original day I planned to weigh in, even though I really turned that into Sunday. Oy. No more.

Hey-congrats on losing 50lbs! That's awesome!

Only real confession is that I am sooooooo tempted to hop on the scale before Monday. But I am going to stay strong. I want to see a GOOD number-say 186 something, and not another little drop (from 188.8 to 188.2) like I saw from cheating and getting on the scale Tuesday after weighing in Sunday.

I celebrated a 50 pound weight loss today!.....with food! Boo! Chinese buffet (thought it was to-go and just one plate, there is still no telling how many calories were in that little box...) and I just had "fun size" m&m's for dessert.... Sheesh!!

Yesterday I worked hard in the yard (about 4-5 hours of weeding, mulching & porch cleaning) and ate well throughout the day. In the evening, I simply felt like eating sweet things. I had 2 golden Oreo cookies, 5 double-filled creme wafer cookies, and 3 pieces of licorice. Oh, then I had some Cheez it crackers. I've been working really hard these past 2 weeks, so I'm not beating myself up over it: It was a conscious decision to be dumb, but today I am right back to kicking butt.

I finally bought a scale (again, here's hoping this one doesn't flake out on me like the last 2 did!) and after a week of serious effort, am down 5 lbs! I think some of that nasty gain was due to water retention, as never in my life have I lost 5lbs in a week before.

New confession; Slightly scared about starting Week 3 of C25K tomorrow morning. Keeping fingers crossed!

I weighed myself for the first time in a while, and the number upset me so much I completely BLEW the whole day Saturday. The good news is I didn't let it carry over into Sunday, but I'm disappointed all the same.

My trick to cut my mindless snacking is to eat ONLY in the kitchen. I have to be really hungry to sit at the table and whip out a snack....no tv or bed....

I have to confess that this week has been hard on me. I have been hitting the snooze alarm in the morning so instead of the 30 minute morning workout I am squeaking in only 20. I also have been lazy at night and instead of doing all the things I really want to do around the house I have been a couch potato. The problem with being a couch potato is I want to snack while I am being lazy. Tonight I am planning on not sitting down. Maybe that will fix. it. ha ha

Thanks for sharing that, Heather. I know i most DEFINITELY have those moments still, even though I certainly know better. Sometimes it just is what it is, and you just have to make a vow to start the next day fresh! My ongoing problem is I lapse, then one day turns into 3...10....30. Yikes.

I wasn't feeling good so I left work to get some medication at the dollar store next door. I sat in my car and ate an entire container of bean dip with most of a bag of ruffled potato chips AND an entire package of maple nut goodies. Yeah, you read that right. Hence my newest blog. I'm normally so in control. I needed to admit this, but couldn't managed to tell someone around me because I couldn't bear to hear them laugh in my face. That's the old Heather...not the Heather that's lost 55 pounds....what's my problem!?! Phew....I feel better just getting that out. I am NOT GOING TO LET THIS RUIN MY DIET THE REST OF THE DAY! I'm just going to get over it, move on, and be better. Thanks for listening and not judging.

I had a piece of snickers ice cream cake today. I didn't even plan on it. Someone had it at work and brought me a piece without first asking me if I wanted it. I really could have passed up on it but I felt like it would be rude to tell them to take it back.

DARN those thin mints! Last night I was bragging to my hubby that a pack of thin mints had survived a whole week in our freezer, then i opened it and ate 3. 3 is much better than a sleeve like I did last year....

Yesterday was my cheat day and I took it a bit too far...KFC buffet for lunch AND chinese food for dinner...topped off with said cookies...

i ate 9 Thin Mint GS cookies last night. I haven't had ANY since we got them last month, but I was craving them BAD!! i don't feel bad about eating them though and i'm right back on track today :)
