I am just going to leave it.. I have contacted lion brand previously over problems like this, and there was no sympathy from them at all. Will try again with this and see what they say

I think overdying might make it worse .. so I was thinking I could wear a shirt over it and no one will see

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

What will be your solution to this? Will you leave it or maybe overdye to even out the color? Or frog it?

Whatever you decide, I feel you should contact the yarn company with all the information from the yarn bands to see if they will at least try to make some adjustment.

If the sweater fits and you like it, overdying by yourself or an indie dyer would be my suggestion. You may still be able to make lemonade from this...

And you are not seeing things. I used all the same dye lot of Coboo yarn and half the front and back are done in a more purple color than the rest of the sweater

Just a simple hat, but it used up some yarn and made me feel accomplished. It's Ann Norling Head Huggers, using 1/3 ribbing.

My latest project is a crocheted elephant for my Craft It Forward group. Took me over a month. Need to focus more. We have 4 missions in the first two month of the year, so I'd better get busy. Today, I will be working on tiny mittens for a Christmas garland project. And probably continuing work on a tiny football hat for my newest great-nephew who is just a few months old. I am looking forward to a day of relaxation and knitting.

I have a lot of this type of yarn to use up and I enjoy knitting dishcloths as a take-along project, especially when visiting out of town.

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? I am in awe that you made that shawl in 4 days time.

This is my latest blanket for a granddaughter. She grabbed it as soon as it came from the dryer and before I could take a photo of the final one. It's made from 2 recycled sweaters and 1 new yarn. www.ravelry.com/projects/Nana-Emma/r

We don’t have many girls in the family and are so fortunate to have a great-niece due to arrive soon. This blanket is dedicated to her. This is my design and can be found on Ravelry.

I got the pattern from a Disney Princess book so there isn't really a pattern I can link to. I'm making these for the granddaughter of a coworker.
