love them

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

Thanks! I love the yarn (bought it for myself as a birthday present)... but I did a bind off that wasn't as stretchy as it should have been ... will have to learn some new ones for next time emoticon

My first attempt at color work

I would post the pattern but it was awful! I had to fix every part of it except the chart. It was crazy but I did it.

This is my latest project, a yellow baby blanket made with Deborah Norville yarn, which is currently my favorite affordable yarn. It is very soft, cozy and warm, but also not too heavy.

Here is the link to the pattern I used.

I've recently finished a wreath for my toddler daughter's bedroom door:

I really love it, it makes her door look personal and inviting.

I used lots of different patterns (and made up a few leaves myself) - all the details are here: www.ravelry.com/projects/Arlandria60

very nice hats. you can post the links for the patterns used . that way if others want to make it everything is in one place
