I do the heavy whipping cream, some unsweetened cocoa, a bit of Splenda and add a bit of instant coffee for a mocha flavored treat.

I was JUST about to tell you a recipe I thought I had discovered myself, and realised someone else has already discovered it! Heavy whipping cream, some unsweetened cocoa, a bit of Splenda....ahhhhh soooo delicious! Beats that chocolate craving immediately.
Definitely need to try that coconut oil and chocolate though. Sounds great.

Butter will also harden - I've used it for a chocolate chip recipe before.

I use exclusively coconut oil (except olive oil for salad) - but I think all of it solidifies at below 76 degrees.. I've got the virgin which gives a slight coconut flavor, but also have some other that is not because in some things I don't want any coconut flavor. Both of the solidify equally.

I wouldn't use anything other than virgin coconut oil. Why? Because virgin coconut oil is usually solid at room temperature (76F). This lets the chocolate solidify.

Coconut oil is VERY good for you (Medium chain triglycerides).

What other oil other than coconut oil could I use? Would canola oil work? This sounds yummy! I gotta try it. Esp. with halloween around the corner!

I like to melt coconut oil, then mix in cocoa powder, sweetener, a little cream, and some vanilla. If I'm patient enough to let it cool, it hardens into tasty chocolate. It's pretty good straight from the pan, too. Now that it's fall, I also like to mash together pumpkin, cream, butter, sweetener, vanilla, and cinnamon...mmm.

I hear you on the hot jello water! When I make jello, I sometimes have a hard time waiting for it to cool - especially if I've added some cream cheese.

All these sweets sound so good. Yum!

I like cream cheese. A spoonful or with pork rinds, celery, yellow summer squash rounds, zucchini rounds. I mix a little cocoa & splenda with it to make a fudge. I also mix it with peanut butter. You also can mix it with sugar free jello.

I like ranch dressing with broccali, cauliflower and the above veggies.

I like the homemade Aitkins Shake.

I like yogurt fizzies.

Im not a big fan of jello, must be the texture. I usually have a tb of peanut butter. It has some carbs but better then me snacking on chips or something loaded with carbs.

sweet treats.hmmmm
I mix a tablespoon of sf chocolate syrup into a heaping tablespoon of almond butter when I want a chocolate treat. I eat it straight, generally.
I like sf pudding mix with heavy cream. I never thought of using sour cream but I will from now on. LOL
I make a muffin in a minute sometimes. it's filling and slightly sweet.

I've always liked hot jello, since a child. and it's a good option for someone who'd got the stomach flu since gelatin can help even out the runs, very soothing

Ok. I admit it. I like hot sugar-free Jello water. I feel really odd drinking it, like I am doing something "wrong". Has anyone else tried it, like it or have another different treat? I guess I am just desperate for a low carb treat. Yesterday I even mixed sugar free pudding mix with sour cream..... it tasted good, like cheese cake!
Just curious if anyone else has come up with a creative low carb treat?
Laura
