thanks, I just signed up for the free Carb manager. I start today with an am fast till 5pm. Then 1 egg. My favorite break fast is a poached egg over spinach covered with homemade hollandaise sauce Maybe the hollandaise egg{s?} for supper.

I have to stop checking the scale everyday as it is not my best friend. I did everything right yesterday and it is still weighing me high. Today I will do even less carb. And drink more water.

I am not doing Ankins anymore. I am using an app on my phone that is Paleo. I like using the app to keep track of what I am eating. Of course yesterday I did not record everything after I blew it.

I love pork rinds I think I will pick some up.

My plan yesterday to foil desire for bread by eating an on plan artichoke worked!! I don't have a particular problem with ice cream, TURTLE, but crackers & any kind of cheese defeats me. My diett of choice is Paleo, & I can't recall if Pork rinds are OK on Atkins. I buy the uncooked rind packages, such as Lowrey, cook them as you do microwave popcorn, and substitute them for crackers.with dip or cheese, or plain of course.

Ice cream, cracker and too much cream cheese was my down fall yesterday. Today I am going to get my act together and get back on track. No one can do this but me

I and only I can fix this mess." So true. I went shopping before I broke my nightly fast, and after I ran several errands, without realizing I was hungry. Bad mistake. I knew I was in a spoil myself mood when I paid $3.25 for an artichoke, but I must have been unconscious when I bought rye bread & English muffins. Maybe if I fix the artichoke, I'll be able to put the breads in the freezer instead of eating another muffin!

The only thing I am committed to right now is bettering myself....good quote for the day now something I have to say over and over today to I fix the mess I have made of my weight after eating two days of way to much carb. I have done damage to my body that only eating low carbs can fix. I need to get myself under control and fix this before it gets out of hand. I and only I can fix this mess.

I blew it last night with two bowl ice cream and two slices buttered bread. Today is a new day I can do good and get back on track. I like the weight loss better than the taste of these two foods. I can and will eat right!!!

Yesterday I had a water weight gain of .8 lb. I goggled how to take off water weight and found that among other things eating celery helps.i love celery and ate some as my veg for dinner last night. The water weight is gone today. I need to remember not to bring things in the house that might trigger me to eat that are not low carb

I blew it last night I had eight cookies and a handful of candies.

I am not giving up on myself I will do good today. I will eat very few carbs today only meat, veggies, healthy fsts and low carb fruit. I will stay away from other carbs not as punishment but as a healthy choice. I can and will succeed. ( just a little pep talk to myself that you can use)

Fantastic, Turtle. My goal too, but I've been slacking off. The lesson is not to feel too comfortable along the way. I AM uncomfortable with clothes at my current weight, and the short length of energy with all activities, including social.

You are inspiring, and I look forward to your example.

Reached a goal I set out a few years ago. I am at the weight I was in 2016. I reached that goal and will set a new one next week. I want to bask in today's glory.

Scale down a bit today. I am eating better than before, eating more veggies. I moved to a new apartment this month and have a chrisper in the top middle. Right at eye level are cut veggies to take and eat for meals and snacks.

Scale down again, love this way of eating. I snacked on full fat cream cheese last night and was on program. I ate out at favorite restaurants both lunch and dinner and was on program. I have been on diets since the 7th grade and have felt guilt that lead to binges from eating these foods I have eaten this week and can now eat them freely. Love it !!!

I love full fat cream cheese and other diets I felt I was cheating to eat it and would say after enjoying some "oh well I blew it" and eat everything in sight. Now I have it and know it is on diet and keeps me from feeling hungry. I am satisfied by my snack and dont binge. And the scale is going down

I had almost reached my goal of 169 when I had an ice cream party for three days started Mothers day.I gained 5 pounds of carb water gain. I have lost almost all of that. I am doing Atkins and hope to be back to my goal by Saturday. My hubby wants sweets around the house all the time. I bought a kind of ice cream, a kind of cookies and candy I dont like so I am not tempted to eat them.

Turtle, you are refreshingly honest, & looking at your diet record, you must have super power. Are you maintaining your loss in spite of sugar snacks? I should be re-losing more to again achieve my former 63 pounds lost.

Forestpal we all should do what works best for us. I was doing fasting and found that I did not like being hungry for days on end.

I went a little overboard on the carbs yesterday eating a slice of cake and a part of my Hubby's candy bar. Will do better today.

I'm convinced lo carb is the best realistic plan. It's distressing to realize that after losing weight, I must diet the rest of my life to keep those pounds off. Paleo works best for me, but even when I weaken with grains (bread), keeping control of my carbs makes it all work.
