Indian standard Time!Now 54 yrs old.Had a Sleeve Gastrectomy and like most of us who have had this survey-it is a welcome surgery and ,howeer a radical lifestyle change-in diet,exercise,evrything.Weight is down by 20 kilos.That is a whole new me but I need to lose a couple of 5 more kilose hopefully due to newly diagnosed psoriatic arthritis.Well here's to all of us ,everybody!I am on a new challenge that

My dream is to run a 10K without breaking out of running stride. I tapped on my fears and decided to keep track of my progress here and discuss overcoming my doubts and fears.
Sept 28, 2016: I last ran a 5K on the treadmill in 48 minutes, lowest pace (besides warmup) was 3.6 mph. I have never done a 10K. I hope to keep up to a running pace (continuously above 4 mph) throughout the duration of a 10 K on 5/13/2017.
My first fear is that I am setting my hopes too high, but I decided not to give in until after the run on 5/13 because the more I try the further along I will be. I will not act foolishly however, and if my health requires that I slow down my pace even to a walk, so be it. My life does not depend on running the 10K at a certain stride at a given time, but I know I will achieve it sometime because I am committed to it
My second fear is that I lack the will to run often enough and far enough to be prepared on May 13, particularly since I havenít run since over a week ago. But I am doubling down to amend for my failure and now will run walk for 90 minutes today and intend to do ninety minutes weekly in addition to running more often from now on. If I ever falter, I will double down even more
