Challenge 01/28/10:
Happy Thursday to you!
Your challenge today is to GET RID OF SOMETHING YOU DON'T NEED. This is a pretty general concept. You could be:
*Cleaning off your desk
*Cleaning out your junk mail (electronic or snail mail)
*Clean out your purse, wallet, or car
*Clean out your fridge, pantry
*Clean up your closet, kid's toy box
I'm big on donating or recycling items if at all possible. Items that you don't need any longer can be given away to local charities (some will even pick them up from your curb). Another place to give items away is your local Freecycle group (look online for one in your area).
Just have lots of trash that you need to get rid of? Shred any item that has personal information on it. Most refuse companies recycle paper nowadays. For our family, I start a brown paper bag off with various paper/cardboard items. At the end of the week, I set it out with our recyclable items.
It feels great to say IT'S OUTTA HERE! You can do this!
Have a CLEAN SLATE Thursday!
