it's been so hot by me recently that drinking is even a safety issue!

Just joined the team and hoping daily challenges will help me reach my goals!

I am a naturally dehydrated person. Usually I would only drink 4 cups of water or any liquid a day.

I started my new diet/exercise program Monday and that is helping me drink plenty of water!! All week I've reached 8 cups

This has been the hardest thing for me! The most I can seem to drink is about 6. I don't drink much in general, so I assume it's mostly because of that. In fact, I only drink water and milk on any given day.

I do this everyday. I get in at least 10 sometimes 12 glasses a day. Water is typically all I drink, once in a while a diet Dr Pepper. I have to add the Crystal Light packets sometimes, there are days....

I keep a big water bottle full of crystal light at work, and drink about 3 a day - that's 9 cups of water total! I have been rocking out with the raspberry tea this week. Love it!

Happy Thursday to you!

Are you drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day? Think about this before you answer:

The initial signs and symptoms of mild dehydration in adults appear when the body has lost about 2% of it's total fluid. These mild dehydration symptoms are often (but not limited to):

* Thirst
* Loss of Appetite
* Dry Skin
* Skin Flushing
* Dark Colored Urine
* Dry Mouth
* fatigue or Weakness
* Chills
* Head Rushes

If the dehydration is allowed to continue unabated, when the total fluid loss reaches 5% the following effects of dehydration are normally experienced:

* Increased heart rate
* Increased respiration
* Decreased sweating
* Decreased urination
* Increased body temperature
* Extreme fatigue
* Muscle cramps
* Headaches
* Nausea
* Tingling of the limbs

Your challenge today is to DRINK AT LEAST 8 GLASSES OF WATER. What? You say you aren't a fan of drinking plain water? Why not try:

*Adding sliced lemon, lime, or orange to your water
*Try sparkling water
*Add Crystal Light, Wyler's, or any other sugar free crystals to your water
*Make it ICE COLD - it will feel great on these hot days
*Make a cup of herbal tea

Have a GORGEOUS COMPLEXION, ROSY CHEEKS, AND NO DEHYDRATION HEADACHE Thursday!
