so many things, and really so little time, but the main ones,

1. take a ship to Europe, I have always wanted to say, I sailed across the pond emoticon

2. I do the walk across America, and I would love to drive slowly along the same route,

3. get rid of my ear infection so I can get my ear drum reconstructed, going on 2 years now.

I'm pretty excited about this one because something that has been on my "bucket list" for several years is finally coming to fruition!!

1) Attend the National Conservation Leadership Institute - I was just accepted Monday!!! I am SO excited for this amazing opportunity (and I've been working toward it for at least the last 3 years).

2) Complete a sprint-triathalon. To do this, I need to learn to swim - not doggie paddle, keep myself afloat swimming, but REAL swimming. I plan to work with a friend who swam competitively to start this piece this fall - hopefully complete this in 2014.

3) Run a Disney 1/2 marathon. Someday... I will keep training and running local races and get my exercise more consistent and bills paid off so that we can work on planning a Disney vacation at the right time to do one (either Princess or TinkerBell - though I would prefer the Tinkerbell... It's more me!)



What if I fall?

Hello Quadcmom for as your last item you can do it. I have completed 6 half marathons via walking and this year also, got my fanatic for doing two races in 14 days.

1. Keep training and doing more speed work to get my time down to under 3 hours for the next half marathon.

2. When it gets cooler do a time check and see if I can get down and hold a 12 min/mile range pace can do 13 and 14 min/mile pace at this time for races.

3. Will need to start thinking of when I want to start training for a full Marathon.

1. I want to learn to play the piano / keyboard. I am 54 years old, I grew up on a house with a piano and I never learned to play. How I will start. I will buy a lesson CD or DVD for beginning Keyboard.

2 I want to climb all the way to the top of a rock wall. I tried a couple of years ago when I was on a cruise ship. I only made it a little ways up. It takes a lot of arm and leg strength. How I will start. I will work up my muscles and when I have lost another 15-20 pounds, I'll go to a rock wall and give it a try.

3. I want to do a half marathon and then work up to a marathon. I may not be able to do this one because I don't run. I will keep walking on my treadmill longer.

I hope no one gets offended with this challenge. Have you seen the movie "The Bucket List"? It's very sad. Are there some things you want to do before you "kick the bucket"? If you have not already done so, start your bucket list. The challenge will be to write down two or three things and start to plan how you will start to do them. I'll go first to give you and example.
