Great plans Peggy and Marmparm!

It's turned very wintry here, snow, cold very windy. Some areas postponing trick-or-treating until Saturday.

I had to take my dad to the ER today so a lot of sitting today. I'm catching up on a couple shows and getting a few of these moves in to combat all the sitting.

Since the theme of Trick or Treating has changed from --cute kids in cute costumes going around a familiar neighborhood-- to --blood and guts and gore with parents driving a van load of kids to the neighborhoods that give out the biggest candy bars--, I have become a Halloween Scrooge. I make plans to be somewhere else during the trick or treat hours. This aft we are going to help Kiddo #1 install a new garage door opener. Tomorrow we will bring Grandbaby #1 (dressed in the wooly bear caterpillar costume I made) to see Great Oma and Opa. That will definitely be a treat!

i dont give out candy since childhood obesity is at a very high level and i dont want kids to have to have all the issues with food that i do. i get dollar tree toys-pencils-glow sticks -stickers-etc and give them out instead. kids love them

Halloween candy! Why is it so hard to resist?
I eat a whole chocolate bar maybe twice a year, but think nothing of scarfing down 12 mini chocolate bars a day until all the Halloween candy is gone. Darn those leftovers!!

It's time for our annual Halloween workout that you can do during a scary movie, in between trick or treaters, or on a work break:

BONUS/ALTERNATE CHALLENGE: If you can't resist halloween candy, have cut-up fruit/vegetable or other healthy snacks to nibble on in between bites of candy.

Are you taking a little one trick or treating... keep warm by skipping as you go or walking sideways. Be careful!
