I killed my WiiFit disc and lost nearly two stone by doing 30 minutes of the exercises and then 30 minutes of yoga most nights for nearly a year when my kids had gone to bed and my partner was out at work - now I was following a low-carb plan at the time which helped - but I loved my Wii-Fit. I'm totally unco-ordinated so it meant I could make a fool of myself at home rather than at a gym where everyone else could see me....and I loved the fact that I could weigh myself before every session - which I know you shouldn't do - but it meant that I could see I was losing even when the bathroom scales said I wasn't.

Hello everyone. I want to say that during pregnancy I added 18kg. It was very hard for me to accept myself with these new measures. Even if my husband was very supportive and said that is okay with my sizes I still wanted to lose weight and come back to my old clothes and to look good for him. I heard that many women have lost weight with Reductil. I admit I was skeptical at first because I did not want to risk my health. Eventually I tried it and honestly I can affirm that it was a smart choice. I lost 6kg in the first month and then I decided to take it for two more months. The results are wonderful and now I can buy all the clothes I was only dreaming about emoticon . I found Reductil on this online pharmacy:

The Wii active/fit is no joke. you really get a good sweat and if you do that enough times you'll lose weight. my problem is i stop and start. I found this team so i'll give it another try. you get a reality check when the program says you have a wii fit age 15-20 years older than you actually are. Give it a try.

My friend lost over 100 pounds using only Wii Fit and eating healthier. She looks great! I have been using it for 6 weeks now and have lost 11 pounds.

I bought my Wii fit in mid January. I used it daily up until 2 weeks ago. I use it about 3-4 days a week now in combination with with DVD's and stationary bike. I also started focusing on my eating with the Wii fit. I have lost a total of 13lbs. I lost a total of about 8 inches on my body. The Wii fit is perfect for days that I don't feel like working out. Since it has warmed up outside, I mainly use it for Yoga and strength. I also purchased the Biggest Loser and plan to get Ea Active and Gold's gym.

I've lost almost 10 lbs from just doing the Wii Fit Plus! I've also been watching my food portions and drinking more water than I ever have!

Good luck to you!

I lost my first 40-45 lbs with doing Wii Fit as almost only exercise (plus a very little walking). Lost last 20 with Wii Fit still as main exercise but adding in other forms as well for variety and more intensity.

Oh yeah, and calorie counting / control all along the way too.

Best wishes to you! It can be done.

I have lost inches since doing Wii Fit Plus. I had never done yoga before and was quite clumsy at it when I began - but kept at it and now I love the yoga.

If you really want a good workout make your own routine combo of yoga and strength exercises and when done with that do some cardio like the hula, step or boxing and then do another set of your routine you made.

I have found the challenges have helped tremendously - I do them after I do my exercise routine. Since I am a competitive type personality I am always trying to beat my score.

Ea Active is the second one I alternate with and the "walk it out" program.

The key to it all is eating properly, drinking your water and doing some kind of exercise each day. Coach Meg has a real good 10 min cardio boxing video that will get your cardio up and does not take that long.

I know I have made myself a promise since reading the Spark book that this was going to be my way of life from here on out. I am feeling better, have more energy, my clothes fit better. I couldn't workout for 3 dys when I got the flu and I really noticed the difference in the way I slept and my mental state.

So just keep at it and you will get to where you want to be. Can't wait to see what next weeks challenge is going to be. emoticon

I lost 7 pounds with wii fit then gained back three of them from inactivity due to sinus cold/infection. Worked out on the wii fit twice this week because I just can't let this sickness win. I can't stay down. I hate feeling defeated.

If you did not give me the strength, I would still be too shy to stand.

We got our Wii Fit Plus for Christmas. I'm using it along with eating right. I've noticed, for me, that when doing the Super Hula, I've lost an inch already on my waistline. And since then I've lost about 3 pounds...here and there...no major weight loss just yet. I haven't been on every day either.

I also like the advanced step game, and get a good workout with that one too.

I think it differs for each person.

Good luck in your journey! emoticon

I've been using Wii Fit Plus along with some exercise DVDs as my workouts and so far have lost 20 pounds. I really believe that Wii Fit gives as much benefit as the effort you put into it. I've had some really, really good workouts on it, and sometimes it just feels like playing games. The more effort I put in, the more I feel like I've worked myself. It is what you make it!

I lost some (15ish pounds) but then I had 3 foot surgeries in 9 months and gained it back plus some. Started out easy on the wii fit plus when I was cleared for exercise but have since moved on to EA Active.

I doubt anyone has lost 100plus with the Wii Fit Plus, just because it's too new. The Wii Fit is really helpful, if you use it religiously and use it for things like cardio exercise - in the same way any other machinery would be. It's using it that's the trick, rather than the idea itself, really.

I have found that the longer I use the Wii Fit the more I want to do other things outside of it to supplement - but hey, that's a *good* sign. I am getting to a better energy level!!

The Wii Fit basically, has PROMISE to get you to your goal, but don't feel like exclusivity is required. Yes, it costs a bundle of money, but I feel it is worth it. But don't get it and then use it as a way to talk yourself out of other exercises or programs - several people on here have Wii Fit but also other games that are for the Wii and use the board. I personally like to run/walk outside, too. The catch is using it but not feeling too attached, I think.

Beginning in January I began eating more healthy and using the Wii. Like you for about the first six weeks that is the only form of exercise I was getting. I did have weight lose, but more importantly I was building stamina as well as toning my body with the Wii. I agree with BAJ4711 on the hula hoop and rhythm boxing, but I would also recommend the strength training exercises. Many I had a hard time doing at the start, but I kept on and now can do most. Also, just because they may only do 6 - 10 reps at a time, you can do them more than once and get more of a workout. Hang in there.

Thank you for your reply. I will try to do the hoola hoops and I love boxing. I do the Wii Sport boxing.
I count calories and drink my 3litre water. Everything else I do is spot on but I am not an exercise person. Since I bought the Wii 5 months ago, I might as well make the most of it. So I joined challenges on Sparks.

I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone who has lost 100 lbs just through any exercise, but I do 30 minutes every day (since Christmas) and although I haven't lost a lot of weight (4 lbs), my clothes are fitting much better, and I am definately more toned. I recommend the hula hoop and the rhythm boxing if you want to really burn calories. Good Luck!

Hi
I am new here but not to weightloss journey. Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sport are my only form of exercise (till the weather gets better) and I have about 130 lbs to lose. I have already lost 42lbs without exercise for the last 5 months. But I need to tone up.
So my question is ..Has anyone lost over 100lbs on Wii alone as a form of exercise?

Edit: I count calories religiously which helped me lose the 42 lbs.
