You are fine Bethany, we have been praying for you and your situation. I feel you and seeing all your hard work go down the drain is disheartening (as you so gracefully put it). I'm sorry you've had to deal with this, you're right it could have been worst. Do what you have to do, it's been quiet around here anyway...summer and all. I think in the fall we will have more activity on all the boards. Take care and try to do something good for yourself!

Hi all. I am so sorry that I haven't been around that much these last couple of weeks, especially this last week. Some of you may know that a couple of weeks ago, we got alot of rain and my basement flooded. We managed to save most things and thought we got the problem fixed. We got everything back together and then last Wed. night, we got a ton of more rain and it wiped out everything. It destroyed everything we couldn't get out in time.

We have been tearing up carpet and tearing down walls these last few days which has made being here pretty impossible.

We are making progress and will keep doing the clean up until we get it done. We just had a new bedroom built last year and was going to move my stepson down there now that he is older and to give him more privacy and give my girls some more room upstairs. Unfortunately that isn't a possibility now. All of our stuff and living has to be done on the top floor now until we get the problem fixed. It could take up to $6000-$10,000 dollars to fix so needless to say that won't be happening anytime soon.

I am trying to stay positive. It could have been worse. I know alot of people here lately has had to walk away from their flooded home. I am human though and have to say it is a little dishearting.

I promise to be around more and more these days. I can't believe how many members we have now. So again forgive me for not being around!
