We used a front seat and it was great. We attached to my husband's bike and it let them chat while riding and allowed my husband to keep better tabs on our son. We plan to use it again with our second child now that the weather has gotten better.

I plan on buying myself a cruiser style bicycle (yay!) to get more exercise. My son is 16m old and will get to go with me most of the time. What type of seat do you recommend?

I'm not sure if a front rider or back is better. I'd consider a tow behind cart but that's not my favorite option because we have a wagon we'd most likely use for short walks to the park. I'd like something that can stay attached to my bike for rides around the neighborhood.

Thanks! emoticon
