Hi Paula, hope you had a great day today!

We have 5 Butterfly bushes around our backyard, one of which is close enough to the deck that we can enjoy its lovely fragrant blooms, as well as all the butterflys that flock to it.

Jo, and especially Mary constantly tell me to stay away from my favourite nursery..... my van also heads there all by itself during the whole growing season! emoticon This year has been quite the exception, I just can't seem to muster up the energy or even the desire to do much outside. I haven't even been out on the deck as much as usual. Maybe because it's just been too darn hot and humid?

Tomorrow Meaganne (youngest offspring - still lives at home) and I are off to Tillsonburg early, early, early in the morning to work at a dog show. We usually do all 3 days of this show, but DH now finishes work at 9 am on the weekends, and I can't be in 2 places at the same time.....

Kathy I hope the drama is soon resolved with hubby, it's awful when things seem to be unsettled, I hate that kind of stress :(. Today I ended up in a local Nursery, my car has auto-pilot where garden nurseries are concerned LOL. I came home with an ornamental tree for my front garden. In the spring we had to have an Ironwood tree removed due to disease. I reconstructed the bed and had bought a Butterfly Bush to be the focal point in the center but just wasn't satisfied and felt this tree would be better emoticon Tonight I dug out the bush and put this tree in its place, now fingers crossed it makes it! Never got the bush into a new home as the mosquitos were starting to eat me alive! They just love me. Hopefully can get bush planted in morning before the heat hit again.

I started the morning off by heading in to the dr. to get him to put me back on the medication he stopped a few weeks ago, and discontinuing with the new one....

We've been immersed in a huge 'drama' since last Wednesday involving renewing DHs security guard license - and on it has continued today.....

My daughter and I went out later this afternoon to pick up a flat of fresh picked raspberries, and some local corn, also bought a couple pints of fresh blueberries too

Mostly, though it's all a matter of just trying to stay as cool as possible - like everyone else is doing too....

Hope you have had a really nice day, Paula!

So what is everyone planning on doing today? Here I am just going to tend to my gardens and trying to figure out what I want to make for dinner. Had such a busy day yesterday so don't have much oomph to do much today LOL. Have a great day and enjoy this beautiful weather emoticon
