Had a really nice day today. Felt like Spring with tempts around 70 degrees. Got out for a walk again.

I just made some kale chips. I really like kale chips from the store and thought I'd save money if I made my own.

Nothing else.

Lee: I guess the next month will be March Magical. You said so. I like the idea of a magical March. We are going to my in-laws for part of my son's Spring Break. I can't wait! I have some other hopes for the next couple of months.

As much as I feel like I could use a couple more days in the month, I must remind myself that this February does have one additional day. And I am going to acknowledge that I hope a whole new and more positive energy begins in March.

It is nice that the days have been noticeably longer. I have had the opportunity to go out and walk a few times in the last couple of weeks, which has been very nice and a really life-saver.

A couple of days ago, I was totally discombobulated.

Let's make March Magical!!

Can you all believe that February is almost done? We are going to have to think of a name for the next month. I am ready to be over February! Ready for Spring to really be here. We are getting some warmer days.

Been working at getting my steps, which has been a bigger job than I remember, but it will pay off.

2015 is the year that I want to stop recovering and start living again!

Aug. 9th, I will start the Ideal Protocol diet. This is a high protein diet where you can lose weight in a healthy way. I hope to have more energy and feel good for a change, and lose weight too!

Hello all. I'm in grad school working on an MFT, so I have the tendency to use research and papers as an excuse to not exercise, or eat right, or sleep right, or match my socks, or .... LoL! I know you've all been there though, which is why I'm happy about being able to be on this team. I'm working on Family Interventions right now and determining the difference between biological and step families when using Family Systems Theory. S-T-R-E-S-S. But, it's worth it because the process is amazing and the outcome will be incredible (hopefully). I have been so singularly focused that I even forgot my brothers birthday yesterday. I need to relax a little - not too much, but at least a little.

Spring like tempts here for the weekend! Yay! I just got back from a walk.

Lee: I can relate to not being in a good place around work.

Today was the start of the Biggest Loser at my work. When I weighed myself this morning I found I've lost another pound which is good. So, I have lost 3 pounds before the challenge started, but it's all good. Now, I'll get to see if I can keep it up with the pressure of a competition. I haven't done well with trying to lose with competitions in the past. One key I think for me is going to be keeping my steps up.

Soon, we will be starting a new month and a new season. Can you believe it?

Loving my Garmin Activity Tracker. Been busy getting steps in everyday.

Tomorrow my work is starting a Biggest Loser competition. We'll see how I do. I've lost about 2 pounds this week from just my daily walking and eating better. Hopefully the competition keeps me motivated.

The month is almost over with! What are the rest of you up to?

Cindi-I'm so happy for you getting the activity tracker! Mine really motivates me to reach my goal everyday, but it doesn't sync anymore with SP. I have to figure it out again and get it working right.
Lee-you look fabulous in your red dress! I hope you have been able to de-stress a little bit this month:)
I will be moving before Friday, and have a few things packed and out in the car, but I have a lot more to do. I will be moving back in with my son for a couple of months, while he and his girlfriend look for a place together. That will give me a couple of months to find something I really like:)

Like your red. I wore a red sweater with kacki jeans and a black vest.

Today I finally got a tracker. I told my husband, some women want a diamond bracelet for Valentines Day. I only want an activity tracker. Been trying to learn about it and sync it. Trying to ramp up my activity.

Well, got to get to bed. Another day tomorrow. I am so happy for the weekend.

Thank you for starting this forum Cindi! The title is going to remind me what I really want to do and be - Have Fun and Be Fabulous!!

January was far from that, I'm tellin' ya'! My stress and anxiety levels were really ramped up because of some unexpected work things. Well, I have had the opportunity to work a few of those things out and I am feeling a bit better about some of the work.Yesterday I did one of my invoices and got to see exactly why I felt so overwhelmed - I had been busy!! It ain't perfect; it never really is. So, why would I expect it to be? And why can't I be pretty much satisfied with "good'nuff" sometimes?

OK~ enough of that.

Today is "Wear Red for Women"... so I did.

Well, I need to get back to work. Lots to get documented so that I can stay in process and make progress. emoticon

This weekend I will get one good walk or workout session in, I will watch Downton Abbey, and I will do some Zentangling - That will all be fun.

We are a month into the New Year and a month away from Spring. What did you do to get fit and what are you going to keep doing each day? Fitness is a lot of things. Its physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, or social. Lets have fun getting fit for Spring.

Blizzard on the Plains today. I have lots of things I'm thinking about doing. Some organizing, some reading, some exercise. Watching the wind and snow outside makes me glad I'm warm inside with chili heating in the crock pot for lunch.

I've been trying to get my fitness mojo back this past month. With February, I am making it a priority.
