Hi all!
I've been busy trying to keep up with getting my steps. I read an article that to maintain 10K steps is good. But, for weight loss you have to get 12K to 15K steps a day. So, I've been trying to get 12K which means getting my steps in. Right now we are having storms so I'm not sure how I'm going to get my steps without either the treadmill or DVDs tonight.

Today, we had a training in costumer service at work. It was pretty interesting.

I am working on my diet and getting more toning exercise. I joined a Prevention 21 Day Challenge. They have WOW (Workout of the Week) which combines isometric type of exercises and strength. I know that is my biggest challenge. My diet is pretty good and my cardio is really good. I know the missing link for me has been strength and toning. I'm seeing some results in my weight and muscle tone seems better.

Hey Hey My People!
How is everybody doing?
I'm doing A-OK. I have been spending a some time in the yarden over the last week. Today was a bit chilly so I didn't connect with the soil and plants.

Spent the day in the office. Since there was lots of emoticon I decided to get outside and go for a walk around the neighborhood. I put in about an hour.

I am getting some good calls for work this month. There are a couple of things that have popped up and I am excited about the possibilities (and the emoticon .) Since my DH&Business partner is now more active in the work on the ground I think I will have the time and energy to really do the additional projects. And since they are short term engagements it is great.

This week I started intermittent fasting again. Today is my second day. It is a bit more difficult when I am sitting at a desk most of the day. Part of my strategy is going to be to schedule walking meetings instead of meal & coffee meetings.

Who is ready for May?

Hi Lee, turning 50 is a good motivator! lol
It feels like summer here already. It has been in the high 80's and looks like it will stay there all week, then rain this weekend. Crazy weather:)

2015 is the year that I want to stop recovering and start living again!

Aug. 9th, I will start the Ideal Protocol diet. This is a high protein diet where you can lose weight in a healthy way. I hope to have more energy and feel good for a change, and lose weight too!

Hello Ladies~
It looks like you are both doing well. I hope that is truly the situation.

OK, I am just totally flabbergasted --- The month is just about half over emoticon

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I have decided to celebrate all month. Some of my associates have talked about having a "Jubilee Year." I don't think I'm up to that, but we'll see. If I want to I will use turning 50 this year as an excuse to do something different, new or for myself. emoticon

So, how has Spring been for you so far?

Just got done doing a walking video in our motel room. We are here to see our son at college. This time instead of staying with family, we decided to splurge on a room. I have set a goal every day for steps which mean with having a sedentary job, I have to really work at getting steps some days when I can't get a walk in.

I'm hopeful for April, but it started cold here. We even had snow before we left home! It can only get better from here.

One of our tasks tomorrow is getting our and our son's taxes done. I think we've been putting it off.

Lee: Have a happy birthday in 5 days. Mine is 52 days from now.

Have a great day tomorrow!

Yup!! April is here. And like the beginning of so many months I wonder where the previous month went.

I didn't meet my weight goal for my birthday. (To do so I would have to lose 10 lbs in 5 days)
I did cut my hair.
Closed out a contract.
Finished my tax material and submitted it to my CPA.
Bought some seeds for my garden.

And now I am on vacation for a week. emoticon
