Yesterday I ate a grilled cheese sandwich (with extra cheese and extra thick bread), fries and a slice of white cake for lunch. It didn't even really taste good and I was so full I was in pain afterwards but it's what I do when I'm feeling inner turmoil. emoticon Thankfully today was better!

I'm trying the Scarsdale Diet as I want to lose at least 20 pounds pretty quickly. Today, was tuna and vinegar lunch, however, I went to Subway and got the tuna salad. It was so good and I've already lost three pounds! Not really feeling guilty but just wanted to share. I too had gotten down to a comfortable size and just wandered, what's the big deal! Until my clothes started being just a tad too tight and uncomfortable. When I diet, I need to give up those things that I like totally, so here I am, back on track! Thanx for listening! emoticon

I read your confession and i know how u feel. I lost 40lbs last year and gained it all back plus some. I just started exercising as of last month, and so far i lost about 6lbs. We often fall off the wagon, but what counts is when we recognize what happen and get back on it. Like the old proverbs say, "Fall down seven times, get back up eight." So never give up. You know what it took to lose those 30lbs, so it should be a lot easier for you to do it again. Yes, it tiresome eating right and exercising, but hey, that's just what we got to do in order to feel better and be healthy. So i encourage you, to continue to do what you are doing. Let's make the right choices and get ourselves back like we was before.

Hope I have encouraged you to keep on keeping on emoticon

I have a confession. I ate a Big Mac Meal from McDonald's today and that was not good. I should have gotten a salad or a grilled sandwich,. I let temptation get the best of me today. Just got to get back on the wagon..... emoticon

I have a major illness, so its hard to workout. I started walking again 3 months ago (with the use of a cane and I am in therapy). I finally lost the 30 pounds Ihave been trying to lose for years.
Now I am trying to keep the weight loss going with modest success

I have not been working out over a year now, due to my body saying NOWAY I could not even exersice fro five minutes. With that said I just took the blow and even stop eating right. I have gained back the thirty pounds that I have lost which I have worked so hard to lose. Anyway I do think my body and ready to start over again. I am happy to say I did 2 full workout yesterday and today. I am feeling great and excited that my body is ready to go again.

im just now getting my motivation/determination back to get healthy but im finding doing it all at one time can be overwhelming and setting me up for failure so im taking it in steps. b/c of having several chronic pain conditions- exercising is the hardest so im focusing on other areas= better water consumption and being mindful of my carb intake. recently diagnosed w/diabetes-ive got to get my eating right. so im doing pretty good up to 4-6 glasses a day and goal of course is to push for 8 daily. also limiting total carb intake to 165 daily and been doing good staying under that. this is hard no doubt but my life is important to me so its not an option. just glad to know im not alone! and im not depriving myself but when i eat something high carbs just subtract and move on. and i find if i dont keep sugar & sweets n the house i wont emotionally eat! which is very hard but once i make up my mind i can make it happen. thanks ladies for being so supportive and motivating!

I am my own worst enemy and you don't need me interferring/doing your job. Please GOD, save me from myself!

I have just been having so much difficulty getting back in the swing of things. I don't know what happened since February, but I just have to get it together. I am very cognizant of what I am eating, but the exercise is a struggle. It may just be in my mind that I don't want my knee to begin acting up again. Who knows?

I started carrying a jumprope in my purse. When I start to stress out, I now ask is it something that I can control and then I jump 100 jumps or so. Ice cream, cookies and the total lack of self control is why I am trying to lose weight now. Boss getting on my nerves....time to jump some rope. My five kids irking the mess out of me....time to jump rope. It works!!

I know about stress eating & how it hurts me mentally & physically afterwards. My blood pressure go up, blood sugar, can't sleep, and to top it all off I wake up w a headache. That is enough to make me stop maybe 1 or 2 days. That's why I joined this group, to share our joys, pain, & most important our success stories to one another. to give us hope.

I've been eating my normal meals however, no snacking between and allowing myself dessert. It's been working out however, the weight is not moving as fast as I'd like. Thinking about doing a fad diet for a week! emoticon

Confession (pos): I worked out for 2 hours Saturday morning - 60 min on treadmill and 60 min. pilates class

Confession (neg): I didn't go to the gym this morning and am joining my friends for a Fat Tuesday happy hour this evening

everyone know that over the weekend i wanted cookies and honey buns.but did'nt go out late that nigt for them.well today after going shopping for food ,i stop at the snacks and got me a honey bun and am not going to lie and was good.i felt like heaven.but i did go and workout.so i would feel too bad.

Yesterday was my birthday and my son's as well. My woe (way of eating) went straight out the window along with exercising. Today was a good eating day for me, but I was too pooped from the weekend to do anything. Tomorrow I will begin again.

late last night i want some cookies are a honey bun.i could taste boyh of them without me having them in mymouth,did have them in the house,am about 20 steps are more from two stores that open 24-hours.and i was getting ready to go but when i made it to my door getting ready to open it.something came over me and said what do you think you're doing turn around because you don't need that it 4am.you don't need to be out their so i turned away.and went back to bed.

I haven't been eating clean in a while now. Yesterday I had buffalo wild wings (honey bbq) and potatoe wedge fries for dinner. My sister in laws birthday is today so I'm going to finish the week out and start fresh Monday. That was my plan anyway.

Yesterday, I had a yummy monte cristo sandwich (french toast with lots of ham, turkey, swiss cheese, and syrup) along with french fries. That meal was soooooo good. I went home and exercised (Chalene Extreme and Zumba). That was yesterday. Today is a new day!

I went to the doctor on Tuesday and realized my blood pressure has gone up (I've never had high blood pressure before), and I've gained 20 lbs. since the last time he saw me, which was last June! I am still 35 lbs. ahead from regaining all my weight back, so I am officially back on track.
Also, whenever my weight increases, my acid reflux flares up so I've got to stop playing around!

I am having difficulty staying on track. I know what to do and I am doing some, but with my knee acting up on me for the past week and a half I have fallen of the exercise. Food I am trying, especially with the fruits and veggies. I pray for strength.

I am having difficulty getting back on track. I now realize how important it is to have fruits as well as veggies. It has been hard. As I have mentioned several times before when my routine changes my eating habits change. This is something I really have to plan for. I have gotten off track. Ugh!!!!!!

OMG! i ate fries yesterday, took like 3 pieces of small chocolates the day before.....................dats not all
when am on my REDs I usaully have serious cravings.well dis month it was sweets and coke and usually i dont even like sweets! but the coke issue was something :(
well on the brighter note I made sure i didnt eat much all through the days i went nuts

least i forget, i joined the 5k Vetual ................guess what i have trained only once! i feel so ashamed! who does dat!

Only got to the gym 3 days this week vs. my target 4-5 days. It's been a struggle balancing work and staying on track. I attended two social events last week and opted to stay vs. head to the gym and had a good ol' time drinking 1 (ok, it was more than 1) glasses of wine.

I really need to learn self-control better because the disappointment comes when I step on the scale. I got off to a strong start and now it feels like I have to work twice as hard to lose weight. One thing that I think I need to do is bring weight training back in - I've been trying to get to the gym, get my cardio in and then leave. Weights may help my weight loss since I was doing that at the beginning when things were going fairly well.

Got to keep it going - there is a goal ahead!
