Sometimes but in an organic way. I don't keep a gratitude journal, it makes me so much worse and is a guaranteed PTSD flare up. Forced gratitude was part of my abuse, so I practice it when I want to.

I've noticed lately that people have been suggesting to be grateful for things as though I already had them. This is difficult for me, but I am getting better at it.

So for today, I am grateful for being good at balancing my work, home, and finances. I am grateful that they are harmonious.

I have not made a habit of practicing gratitude, although I do do it upon occasion. Perhaps that should be my new habit to work on for next week! Thanks for the idea!

Wow, that really is a great article.

I seem to be better at this practice when I am somewhat depressed...when I am not depressed I don't make as conscious an effort to be grateful, I just feel it without being as aware of my blessings. I must say though, this practice also helps me to track my depression cycles.
