Learn while they party. Save while they spend. Live like they dream. Almost all green just missed floors but barely. Achieved my steps per hour goal and had 15,124 steps yesterday. Today's workout plan is 20 min on stair master and Biceps/Legs after getting back from finishing up the weight loss challenge registration process. I think it's a whole body analysis with a high tech machine so I can't eat 3hrs before but can drink water. Will probably make a Lean 25 shake before I leave home then drink it when we get back to the gym.

A cup of grapes contains over 121 g of water. They are also high in antioxidants, such as lutein and zeaxanthin. The skins of red grapes contain the phytochemical resveratrol, which appears to protect against several chronic diseases and conditions. The flavonoids myricetin and quercetin are also found in grapes.

Today for breakfast I had an egg over easy fried with 1 tsp. olive oil on one slice of whole grain gluten free toast. Used minimum of real butter. 1 fresh medium pear. For Bingo the pear took care of two squares and this post another.

Today for lunch I made up some tuna/egg salad. I have to call it that so hubby will eat it! lol It tastes almost identically but is way more nutritious! I'll I do is sub sardines for tuna. Delish on a bed of dark leafy greens. :)

Good morning! I'm just popping by to get started on my Bingo (Black Panthers start on Wednesday), and I'm posting my healthy food. My breakfast this morning was a smoothie: frozen mango chunks (handful from the bag), baby spinach (1/2 of a 5 oz box), 1/2 of a small banana, frozen sliced strawberries (handful from the bag) and unsweetened vanilla almond milk (about 1-1/4 cups). It comes out a lovely bright green color, and it's ice cold and totally delicious! (My handfuls of frozen fruit are about 1/2 cup...probably a little less than 1/2 cup).

Almost all green just missed floors but did achieve my steps per hour goal and had 14,493 steps yesterday. Today's workout plan is Back and 15 min treadmill walk or treadmill HIIT 2 min jog and 1 min walk haven't decided yet. Change of plan instead of going to weigh in today for the 5 * nutrition challenge we will go tomorrow since my trainer's hubby had a meeting today she didn't know about when we made these plans.

Almost all green yesterday just missed floors but did achieve my steps per hour goal and had 17,380 steps for yesterday. Today's workout plan is Shoulders/Triceps and no scheduled cardio but will get on the rower and see how long it takes to get 2,000 meters.

It started out in the 20's this morning and only warmed up to 32 but felt like the lower 20's. Fit quote for today: The reason I exercise is for the quality of life I enjoy.--Kenneth H. Almost all green yesterday just missed floors and active minutes but did achieve my steps per hour goal and had 14,820 steps. Got in a great Legs and 20 min row where I did 2,000 meters in 13:30. I conquered the reverse bosu ball squats with the help of another trainer and friend Ty. Tomorrow I work 8AM-2PM then will get in Shoulders/Triceps with no scheduled cardio but will get on the rower for as long as it takes to go 2,000 meters.

My trainer has signed up for a weight loss challenge sponsored by a local nutrition store and she thought I should too and before I got to think about it too much I preregistered for it yesterday just need to see when I'm off or short shifts on Wed-Fri to go over and weigh in.

Hi Folks!

Here's another ST suggestion:

Side Lunges




Step out to the right, keeping the left leg straight and both feet pointing forward. As your right foot hits the ground, bend at the hips and push your glutes back as you shift all the weight to your right leg. Continue shifting your weight over the right foot until the shinbone is almost vertical to the floor and the right knee is in line with your toes, both heels flat. Push into the right heel as you allow your weight to shift into your right hip and repeat on the other side. That's one lunge.

Reps/Sets: 12 reps, 1 to 3 sets

What I really like to do for ST is planks. It's a great all over workout in one simple exercise.

The strength exercises that I have been most consistent with due to being what my body needs the most are neck and shoulder stretches and foot exercises for plantar fasciitis and arthritis. I can do some of the neck and shoulder exercises in the chair, and I use the stairs for most of the foot exercises.

rainy and windy today - sure wish I could work from home every day.

Our neighbour came over last night with fresh smoked salmon and shrimp - he has a friend who works on the docks and occasionally brings fish to him and he often shares with us as there is so much. I love it
