Fun fact about me....DH and I have been married 49 years we never dated got married just 3 weeks after we met.

Hi everybody!

Today it is snowing out in my home state of Utah! I am so looking forward to Spring. I am tired of the snow. I know I am supposed to be grateful for the water all the snow will bring but still bring on the warmer weather! I am excited to be participating in the Spring challenge!

Dawnwaterwoman I am so jealous you have so many grandchildren! My boys are 21, 25, 26 and 29 and none of them have any children so I can't wait until the day comes that my husband and I have grandchildren to spoil.

Well I guess on to yoga I will go. It's going to be a great day.

Sharing a fun fact about myself... I have 14 grandchildren. 7 are biological and 7 are "heart".. meaning that they are related to the other 7 in various ways mostly by marriage.

It's 32 feels like 22 with a high of 43 for today. After snow showers yesterday late afternoon roads aren't slick so should be OK to get my workout in this morning. Got home from Hawaii last night and have found out jet lag is not fun. I finally admit I am getting old and don’t bounce back as fast as I used to. LOL. Trying to play catch-up and not doing the best job. When does the next challenge start?

We had to drive north to the hospital yesterday. It was snowing really hard. If i dont have an infection in my teeth, prerequisite of this surgery, dentist checkup, i have my surgery a week from thursday to replace the main valve to my heart. They arr doing it the less evasive way but because of the calcium around the valve if the calcium busts tbey will have to do energency open heart. I was already scared but the double scared me and said it is way more than serious...its off the chart. So i am scared but the alternative is i could die within the next two years. Now i am freaked out but just want it over.

It's 27 feels like 16 with a high of 36 and chance of wintry mix this afternoon. Also came up 20 steps shy of achieving my steps per hour goal yesterday as I was at work and was freezing. Had 13,187 steps for the day. Today's workout plan is Legs and 20 min on stair master or other cardio. Scale is down 4.4# from last week think it's because I wasn't feeling well on Saturday and didn't eat much and ate lite yesterday so I didn't get sick again.

Had 13,170 steps yesterday before charging my tracker. Tomorrow's workout plan weather permitting is Legs and 20 min on stair master or other cardio machine.

Hi all! I'm hoping to do a better job in the losing department for Spring. I love the format here giving us some time off between challenges. I need to regroup in my head and get back to whatever I was doing before that seemed to work better. Now I'm only losing a tiny amount, like 4 ounces in a week and sometimes nothing at all. Very frustrating!

Anyway, hope you're all staying warm wherever you live. It's been rainy here so haven't been able to walk outside, which really bums me out.

I just granted access sorry didn't realize it was one of my Spark buddies. I'll also post a link to my blogger blog and my spark blog both of which have what is also in my wordpress blog.

I'm unfollowing a few blogs that I have stayed with since building my blog in November. 2 people declare to be bi-polar and the other depressed. I can pray for them but I cannot continue to read about their suicidal tendencies or ideations. So I am looking for a few new ones to pop up on my reader.

My work schedule was published earlier than normal so I knew before I got off at 5PM what my schedule would look like.

Good afternoon everyone... It is blind stinking cold outside today. I am so over winter!! I live in Ohio. This winter has been really cold. We had record breaking low temps this year. I think we are actually in the 20's today. That's better than it's been for awhile for sure

We had more snow last night but it has turned to rain and it is supposed to rain all day. I just hope the temperature stays above freezing (it is just above now) as icy roads are not my favourite thing to drive on.

Today is my last day of work for a week. I am taking next week off and my sister is coming for a visit. I am so looking forward to that.

My husband had to work last night so I went out with 3 other ladies from the apartment complex. We went to fish and chips and had a lovely evening. I love fish and chips and the conversation was great. I think we should do that more often

Pam- sorry to hear of your fall. I hope it doesn't hurt much and prevent you from exercise.

I live in central KY and we have been up in the 50's down in the 30's up and down and up again. Its been a pretty mild winter this year. we did go into single digits a few times and even hit the 60's a few times. CRAZY weather.

I am pulling out my workout clothes for walking outside. I'm starting that today. I do better with outdoor exercise.

In late November I went and check on my diabetes that I had not treated in 2 years. My numbers were extremely high. She gave me some medicine at a start level and wanted to see how much I could do with diet. I've dropped them from over 600 (where the meter no longer gives numbers) to 200. That is still high but I am proud of the progress. I may have a biscuit -- just one 2x a week. the rest of the diet is protein and vegetables and 1 pkg of instant grits a day. I am hoping when my exercise picks up now that the scale will start to move again.

Gym rest day today planned due to working late and not wanting to go workout when the gym is super busy. Won't know my work schedule for next week until sometime tomorrow to plan my workout times of day and number of days weather permitting of course.

Hello...had a great start..fell yesterday but only a few bruises lol. Had slippers too big and pushed toys with my foot..fell against a toy ridem ppony, hit my hip and on the floor. Had to call an ambulance..i cant get up from the floor. They teased me. And said i was trying to ride tge horse lol. Staying away from bucking broncs.

Anyway glad to be here and hope we have a great time.
