My healthy food for today is my breakfast smoothie:
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 box baby spinach (about 2.5 ounces, one big handful)
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen sliced strawberries
1/2 of a small banana
1-1/4 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

I whiz this up in the Ninja, then I add 1 scoop of my protein powder. I have to stir the protein powder in afterwards, otherwise it foams up too much in the blender.

This is quite a lot of calories, but I do a 45-60 minute workout in the morning before breakfast, so I've earned the calories! It gets me a serving of vegetables and 3-4 servings of fruit, 20g of protein with the protein powder. It's the rainbow before I blend it... it's kind of a gray swampy mess after I blend it, but it's delicious!

So I got hungry for chicken salad after seeing a commercial for Arby's. So I did my chicken salad.
Minutes to Prepare: 20
Minutes to Cook: 30
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients
4 pieces of chicken breast
1 cup green grapes
1 cup raw celery
6 tbsp sliced almonds
1 cup Kraft Miracle Whip with Olive Oil

Tips
I like this the next day.


Directions
boil chicken breast till it falls apart about 30 minutes, Season the water to your like. I just a little onion, salt & pepper while that is cooking chop grapes into small bits, as well as the celery. When chicken is done shredded into bits and add all the ingredients together and mix well. Store in refrigerator covered.

It's 50 now but started out in the 30's this morning. Not tomorrow, not yesterday but now. Live it! Almost all green yesterday just missed floors and active minutes but did achieve my steps per hour goal and had 14,192 steps. Got my new workouts in the app this morning. Will do today's workout tomorrow and if time tomorrow's also otherwise will do it on Wednesday. Got my new Versa bumper and bands was lots easier to put this band on. Still have yet to get my workouts wrote into my notebook but will get that done once I get my 13K steps for today and put my Versa on the charge it's at 56% battery right now.

it's 28 feels like 23 with a high of 50 for today looks like Winter has returned. Today was another beautiful day and I was outside some. Did some housework this morning, lunch and playtime with Ann rest of the day. We finished the ornaments we started Thursday at Shirly's and then talked about quilting. I know I need to start another project soon.

Tonight I ate supper/dinner with friends at their home. Frank grilled salmon and it was GREAT!!

Hello everyone~
I hope this week is going well for all of you!
I am super excited!!! My container garden is growing!!! I have squash, radish, carrots, 2 kinds of lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, cabbage, pak choi, spinach, cantaloupe, and cilantro growing so far! Looking forward to eating from my own garden this year! It is my first attempt at growing my own freggies! I hope I can keep it all alive and growing long enough to be able to harvest and enjoy my bounty! The last two weeks I have been eating a lot more freggies and I am feeling so much better!
