Started tearing down the brick wall in my front yard garden -- I'm doing a total overhaul on the gardens this year. So I was prying up and carrying brick for about an hour today. Also made it to the gym for 20 min stationary bike, and mowed the lawn, which was 45 min.

OMG it has been a crazy end of the week. I am so ready for next week to come I think. Wednesday was a 45 min bike class thursday I did not work out, friday I did not work out, yesterday we spent 2 hours walking around the zoo, and today was a 45 minute walk pulling my little niece in the wagon. for a grand total of 210 minutes.

Hmmm.... a way to make some exta $$! I haven't done her workout yet but I've done a couple other interesting ones. Bootylicious Buns and Bikini Thighs. Obviously they are directed at women but they're good programs. Once I get my bootylicious buns and bikini thighs and abs of steel, maybe I'll do the Carmen Electra strip workout and put it on pay per view hehe.

I started with a bang and got all my minutes and calories burned for the week by Wednesday!! But didnt make it last night and wont make it today or the rest of the weekend! I am going to visit family in a little town where a gym is not ever going to happen since they barley have a grocery store :)

I will come back strong next week I am sure of it!

On another note. We just recently got Comcast On Demand and it's loaded with free shows you can watch any time. Well one of the features is The Exercise Channel. It's loaded with all kinds of exercise routines from Abs of Steel to Carmen Electra's Striptease workout. I'm going to start doing some of these routines and check em out. I might pay special attention to the striptease workout but that's just me. Has anyone else tried any of the workouts on Comcast?

Let the training begin! Today was my first big ride in preparation for my 300 mile bike ride in July. I did a 12.5 mile ride in 49 minutes then another 12.5 mile ride in 62 minutes for a total of 25 miles in just under 2 hours. Talk about an adrenalin rush. I loved it.

Run2Run - the numbers are explained in a post called How to Work out your numbers. Basically, it's how many minutes I pledge to work out each time, how many times per week, how many total minutes this month - and the last number starts the same as the total minutes but as you work out you subtract the workout minutes and count down until you reach - or surpass - your goal minutes!

Update: 40/5/800/490 - I've worked out 40 minutes yesterday and today. Love my exercise bike.

I found a way to motivate myself since I'm doing this on my own.

I have a calendar on which I put a red mark (with bingo markers)with amount of minutes written inside, when I do cardio and a green one, with minutes, when I do strength training.

Also, when I weigh-in on Mondays I put a nice sticker on that day, if I lost weight that week. So far, I lost on both Mondays and I only missed one day of exercise which was on the 5th. So I have a very colorful calendar, since most days, I do both strength and cardio.

If I keep this up, I'll have to increase my numbers again.

I feel terrific! emoticon
