Men make it look so easy! I am really happy my husband is on board and he is looking great! He is on his last belt notch and his pants look like they are about to fall off! It is just kind of hard to see him losing so easily and quickly and I struggle for a little tiny bit. In the end I know I just need to keep at it. Slow and steady is the way to go for us "drippers". :) So help me if he passes me up! lol

Hi Emily,
I don't know why, but men do seem to lose faster than women.
Here is a short article from WebMD about it.

Don't get discouraged, it sounds like you are doing everything right.

Not really any words of wisdom, but it is not uncommon to get anxious about losing weight. Remember, the safe way is a good diet & exercise program, and it will come off, even if it is a little at a time. Don't get discouraged, you will have slow times, but all of a sudden it will come off.

I know it just doesn't seem right for men to lose twice what women do, when we usually work harder than they do. emoticon

My husband and I have been doing this together for the last 3 weeks now. We are both feeling so much better and losing weight, so we know it is working. My husband is losing weight pretty fast and looking great! He is losing probably 2-3# a week, eating slightly less strictly than me and exercising about the same. I have to fight for every 1/2# I lose. I am so happy for him and glad he is getting healthier! It is just slightly frustrating (not sure that that is the right word) to see him losing weight so much faster. I know it is working for me (clothes & wedding rings fit better, have lost weight) but it is still mildly disheartening to see the difference in how we are losing weight. I haven't lost sight of the end goal and have no intentions of regressing to how I used to cook and eat for both of our sakes. Is anyone else going through the same thing? Any words of advice or wisdom to get past this? Thanks!
