except for knives and cast iron, everything still goes in the dishwasher, which gets run every couple of days now, as opposed to every day.

I have a dishwasher but only use it when I have a lot of dishes.

Most times I wash them by hand with just Shannon and I here.

Both. I wash pots and pans, knives and prep bowls by hand, dishes go in the dishwasher.
